Hamlet
HAMLET

Born in May 2020
Neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated.

He is quite timid and scared but get him on his own and he will be a brilliant pet. He does follow us about and can be a bit under your feet at times. Not quite ready to be picked up but comes for plenty strokes when in the mood. Can get a bit rough with his paws and he has his claws out but he is trying to get your attention rather than actually trying to scratch you. Trouble is of course, they are sharp!
He was born feral and succumbed to a nasty bout of cat flu when he arrived meaning his vaccines etc were all delayed. But he is fit and healthy now and ready for his new home.
But he does need a quiet home, maybe older children only, somewhere where folk understand cats sometimes need time and space to adjust before they get more friendly.
He is NOT dog friendly having been adopted once, only for him to attack the resident dog (dog did nothing wrong)
He will need to be an indoor cat or can be a home with access to a catio or cat proofed/secured garden.
He is good with other cats as long as you have no more than a couple. We do have other kittens here he can be adopted with if people are after two. He is possibly better living with another cat but if folk are not leaving him for hours on end then he may manage as an only cat.
£100 minimum adoption donation to cover some of our costs.
A questionnaire will have to be completed so we can assess suitability.
We always do a home check and always deliver the cat to its new home.
Most areas of the North East UK are covered for adoptions.
