Cecelia
CECELIA

Born November 2019
Spayed, chipped and vaccinated

She is a little black beauty. Trapped as a feral cat with some kittens, we think she was more likely a farm cat and was used to folks being around.
She does have a short tail and was likely born like this or it was shortened soon after birth (this can often happen if the umbilical cord gets wrapped around it in the womb, it simply drops off)
You can get close and stroke her but she will have the odd hiss at you.
She will improve massively in a home of her own though and is getting slowly better every day she is here.
Given she is still quite nervous, she will do best in a quiet home, no children under 14, no busy households.
She may be ok with dogs but we have not tested her with them.
She may be ok with other cats as the other adults who are tolerant of other cats are not bothering her here but that is no guarantee and anyone wanting to add an adult female to a home with cats in already needs to think long and hard about that.
You cannot pick her up at the moment but again, I am sure she will improve in time.
Indoor home only, as she has no desire to go outside.
£100 minimum adoption donation to cover some of our costs.
A questionnaire will have to be completed so we can assess suitability.
We always do a home check and always deliver the cat to its new home.
Most areas of the North East UK are covered for adoptions.
