CARRIE
Carrie is a dark tortie girl who came to us as one of a litter of 4 feral kittens.
Their mother had already been trapped by another rescue but was also feral meaning she passed her natural wariness of humans onto her kids.
Therefore it has taken a while for us to get Carrie to the point of being able to be adopted.
Even now she will run away from you and hide but will soon have her tail up in the air again as she gets out of your reach.
If you can catch her she will succumb to many strokes but currently also does the odd hiss at you too.
If you can get over these temporary "feral" traits and are prepared to give her some time, give her lots of love, be patient with her, then she will make a lovely pet.
But we specifically state no children as her background dictates a noisy, busy hoisehold would simply make her more scared.
We state INDOOR only as we firmly believe cats are much safer indoors than out, more so these days with increased traffic, hazards such as dogs, nasty humans etc.
We state NO to dogs as she has never seen a dog before. However should you have a dog who has already lived with cats, then she could maybe adapt and live comfortably with your dog. We would ask you to bring your dog to any visit to meet her and we get to see how your dog is with strange cats.
We ask that people read our information sheets and terms and conditions before completing a questionnaire. All of these can be emailed to you upon request. A succesfully completed questionnaire will enable you to move to the next step in the process which is to come and meet our cats.
We have COVID safe procedures in place so that this can safely happen.
