Mittens came to us because she was very stressed around the children in her previous home. She needs time to trust new people and understand they won't hurt her. She is looking for a sensible, experienced cat person who will let her settle at her own pace. If she's startled then she will hiss and lash out to protect herself, but she really does want a friend. Mittens needs a strictly child-free house, with no visiting children either, and no other pets. She likes to spend time outside, so a secure garden would be ideal.
