Hello, I’m Annabelle. I’ve had an absolutely awful start in life. In fact, an awful 2 years! It’s only thanks to Pawprints that I’m here to tell it. I was found in a back alley after neighbours reported that I was had given birth to kittens, I had 2 lots (at least!) in an outdoor toilet which fortunately Pawprints rescued and got lovely homes for. I was finally found and trapped and brought here. I was in a very sorry state, even the vets were shocked at how skinny I was, I had no fat on me at all. I was starving and had strange sneezing, I was wheezing and and wouldn’t have lived much longer out there in the cold. I was taken to the vets and given medicine and PP gave me lots of food and love and I started to improve a little.

Then the rescue owner came to do morning feeding rounds and found I’d miscarried 5 kittens in the night! I was given more medicine and then I was spayed, no more kittens thankfully! Even better the vets tested me for FIV and I tested negative, which is great news! I’ve started to put on more weight and I’m looking better everyday. I’m not ready to be re homed immediately because I need to be signed off by the vets and have my vaccinations BUT I can be reserved. I’m a lovely girl but I can seem a bit scared at first because I’ve had such a horrible life, it’s made me wary. I’m a fusspot once I know you though and would be a lovely friend for you if you could give me a chance.
