Dexi

Dexi came to us after living rough for quite a while.  Apart from being a bit grubby you wouldn't know it!  She's a very sweet playful affectionate kit.

Update 30 March: Dexi is now reserved for adoption

She has been neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Her flea and worm treatment is all up to date. Vet check revealed no obvious health issues.

She’ll need to stay indoors for at least a month in her new home. After that she will enjoy a safe garden away from busy roads to explore, though we strongly recommend that cats are kept indoors at night time for their safety.

Dexi's problem in rescue is that she doesn't really like other cats.  We think it might partly be because unneutered tom cats had been harassing her before she came into rescue.  She's coping with the others here considerably better than when she first arrived, but we think she'd most probably prefer to be an only cat.  We'd hoped at one stage to be able to pair her up with little Dasher and them go to a new home together, but despite Dasher's best efforts to interest her in his games and make friends she's having none of it.   We think she'll be fine with sensible children who know how to treat animals properly.

We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a minimum adoption donation of £80 for a neutered kitten. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html and you’ll probably find more photos and stories about her here: https://8livescatrescue.wordpress.com/ and here: https://www.facebook.com/8Lives/
