Solly
This young man arrived in rescue with his baby sister Hilde (see separate advert).  We're not entirely sure what the story is or what their biological relationship is, as they left in a hurry with the message "must be gone by tonight".  He may be an older half brother, or even her father but he's taken care of her and we're determined to keep them together after all they've been through together.

UPDATE 2 AUGUST: This lovely young man has managed to secure a fabulous home for himself and his little sister.  They're now both reserved for adoption

Solly is a little shy when you first meet him but he's sweet and gentle and once he starts to gain confidence he does a little friendly roll and comes for a snuggle.

He's been neutered and microchipped and is now fully vaccinated.

Solly will need to be kept securely indoors for at least a month, until he's settled, but after that he will probably enjoy having access to a safe garden, well away from any busy roads.  The strongly advise that all cats are kept indoors during hours of darkness.  It's safer  for them and for local wildlife.

Solly and Hilde would probably be happy in most kinds of families so long as it's not too noisy and busy, and they get plenty of play time and snuggle time.

All our adoptions bring 5 weeks free insurance through Agria.

We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £90 for each adult neutered cat.. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html and there's info about how we've adapted the process in light of Covid here: https://8livescatrescue.com/2020/11/21/adapting-and-adopting/

You’ll find some more photos and stories about our cats on our blog: https://8livescatrescue.wordpress.com/ and facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/8Lives/

Just to be clear - we're looking for a home for Solly and Hilde to go to together.  They have separate adverts simply because of the way the advert template is set up by CatChat.

Please note that although we are listed on Cat Chat in both South Yorkshire and Derbyshire, we only rehome in Sheffield and just over the border into Derbyshire.

If you think yours might be the purrfect home for them please contact us at [email protected]
