Nanook is a 7 year old neutered female domestic long haired cat. She grew up with her brother and sister but decided they were far too stressful to be around and interfering with her right to be the only cat of the house.

Nanook is a larger lady who needs to lose a few pounds, but when she came to us we struggled to get her to eat anything for the first 4 days as she was so nervous. Now she is used to us, she is a social eater and will take nibbles between head butts, while being brushed which she loves.

Nanook is not the most active of cats, and so play needs to be encouraged and feeding will need to be strict once settled. Nanook has tested negative for FeLV and FIV and her kidneys, liver and thyroid are all working normally.

Nanook requests a home where she is the only pet, to be spoiled as she deserves. Young children would not be suitable, given her initial nervous disposition and ability to use her claws when stressed. She knows how to use a cat-flap and would likely like a potter in the garden, so outdoor access or a catio would be ideal. Her preferred food is a soup-type - although Dreamies go down a treat!
