Lulu & Alfie
Lovely Lulu and her son Alfie came into care after their elderly owner was sadly unable to care for them any longer. Lulu is around 13 years old and Alfie is 12.
Lulu is hyperthyroid which unfortunately has been left untreated and has contributed to significant damage to her heart. She is in heart failure and is currently on daily medication to help relieve some of the stress on her heart. There is a small chance that once her thyroid levels have been stabilised, some of the damage could be reserved but her condition is life-limiting.
Alfie is in good health for his and has recently undergone dental surgery to clean up his teeth. He does have slightly runny eyes which is a mild symptom of cat flu but he doesn't currently require any treatment. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
Lulu & Alfie are very close and we would like to find them a loving home together. They love to cuddle up together for snuggles on the couch and both kitties enjoy fuss and attention. Lulu and Alfie are looking for a calm home but could live with sensible children who are over 10 years old. The adoption for Lulu would be supported with the branch covering the cost of her treatment at a veterinary practice in Northampton for the time she has left.
