Rehoming Cats & Kittens: East Sussex & West Sussex

Our hearts went out to Bruno when he arrived in our care - he was clearly an older chap, bearing the signs of a hard life with a few 'battle scars' and damaged ears (which, we think, give him an endearing look). Luckily for Bruno he was being fed and looked after by a kind member of the public.  It soon became evident that Bruno had never been neutered. To make matters worse, he has a serious heart condition which would make undergoing a sedation or general anaesthetic life-threatening so we opted to let him live out the rest of his life as an unneutered cat. In spite of all that this dear boy must have gone through in the past, he has retained his trust in humans and is a sweet-natured and very loving cat. He thoroughly enjoys a gentle fuss and chatting to you. We are aware of the fact that suitable homes for cats like Bruno are few and far between - he has a number of things going against him, such as his age, the colour of his fur and his health issue, but we know that there are kind people out there who can look past it. Bruno has so much love to offer, he is a kind and dear cat. Given his health issue and his age, we believe that he would be better off as the only pet in an adult-only home.
