Meet Gareth a healthy older cat who is a big softy. Gareth was saved purely by chance through another ginger and white missing cat poster. Had been a stray for several years with local residents simply feeding him. Over this time his long fur began to matt and when we found him it was not only severely matted but had grease and tarring substance stuck to the fur. He was not chipped and we would see once he was cleared up he would be as smart as a famous man in a waistcoat after whom we named him. Gareth needed to be completely shaved leaving the only fur on his head. He has slight Dermatitis which is clear now his skin is clean.

Gareth was castrated and needed a full dental and as the vet estimated his age to be approx 10, full blood test were run. He has no underlying health issues. It has been a long time since he has had a home. However he is totally happy and relaxed in his foster home. He has a lot love to give and will show you with his paw 'don't stop stroking me".

We think he he would be happy as an only cat loving the individual attention but he also seems quite happy with other cats. Can you give Gareth a retirement home with lots of love? He deserves it.
