Bailey
Bailey joined us a few weeks before last Christmas as a young, pregnant female stray. A quick look at the business end, a dose of worming tablets and a visit to the vets confirmed Bailey was, in fact, a male cat of indeterminate age, with very dodgy teeth! He was also very grubby. Bailey eventually had to have all but 5 of his teeth removed as they were in such a poor state from living rough.

Bailey will need an experienced owner as unfortunately a few weeks ago he was diagnosed with a urinary tract problem, this means he will need a special diet urinary diet for the rest of his life. He doesn’t need medication at the moment but this may change as he gets older. Bailey has a grade 4 heart murmur for which no medication is needed.

Bailey is a gentle soul who likes to sit with you and be stroked, he also likes to play with his fishing rod toys as long as you don’t expect too much of that running about nonsense. In essence he’s a chilled boy with a laid back attitude to life. Bailey’s lack of teeth doesn’t stop him enjoying his food, and every meal is eaten as if it was his last! His food intake does need to be limited though, both to help the urinary problem and to manage his weight.

Bailey is somewhere between 5 and about 8 years old, has long, mainly white fur, with patches of tabby here and there plus a tabby tail. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered and more than ready to find his new home.
