Ronnie
Ronnie was terrified when he was rescued after being abandoned. He had had little or no contact with his previous owners.
He is a sweet natured, loving young cat, and is gradually adjusting to his new surroundings.
Ronnie has learned to trust his fosterer and is comfortable being handled. After a lot of patience and gentle interaction he will now sit on his fosterers lap for a long period of time, whereas at first this made him tremble, he is now relaxed, he purrs and loves being stroked. He has started to play with a toy on a string, but will only move within the chair his fosterer is sitting in. Ronnie plays with his toys in his foster pen but any sound or movement of someone coming near, he will run and hide for safety.
Ronnie still has a long way to go to build up courage for this new way of life. He will need an owner in an adult home only, with no other pets. Someone with experience in dealing with a shy, nervous cat, a person with patience and time to interact little by little so he can progress at his own speed.
