Archie
Archie is a bit of a character with an unusual meow. He had been a stray in the local area for approximately 18 months before coming into care with a wound on his neck from a burst abscess from fighting with other unneutered toms. Due to the life he was leading and not being neutered, he looks battered, is FIV+ and would have to be homed as an indoor cat. He can be a little hissy, especially around mealtimes but is coming around so an experienced owner would be preferable and also with no children or other pets.

As he knows what the outside world is like, Archie wants to be out, but it is no longer possible. We would therefore like him to be homed in a house with a catio rather than a flat so that he can have plenty of space and fresh air without coming into contact with other cats.

We can offer advice about FIV+ cats and you can read more here: https://www.cats.org.uk/northherts/feature-pages/about-fiv

If you have the right home for him we would love to hear from you.

Please take a few moments to read our adoption policy before enquiring about any of the cats or kittens in our care. https://www.cats.org.uk/northherts/adoption-procedure
