Billy is a lovely, gentle boy who is looking for a home.  He arrived with Dave, to board for a week or two while their owner was in hospital - sadly the worst possible news was that they were unable to return home as their owner passed away. Dave arrived into Rescue in 2016 along with 4 other cats who had been solely indoors since kittens. Determined to find them safe outdoor space - Dave was adopted along with his ‘brother’ to a home situated at the end of a long drive, off a country lane with nothing but fields around. Yet more sadness as Dave’s brother passed away suddenly in October 2017....... so Billy a 2017 kitten was adopted to keep Dave company. Dave and Billy were adopted together in June 2018 but Billy couldn’t cope with the dominant resident cat - Dave stood his ground - but Billy was in hiding and very frightened. Maybe in time he would have found courage from Dave but if cats aren’t happy and the adopters feel they must return to us then that’s what happens. Billy seems quite content with his homely accommodation which he shares with Levi - a comfy kitchen sitting room with sofa and 24/7 access into the cat escape proof rescue garden. Not sure if Billy encourages Levi to hide under the sofa or Levi him, probably my fault for making them a comfy bed under it ! Keep thinking that one day Billy and Levi will venture out to meet new people but it’s taking a long time !!
