Meet the very beautiful Teddy.  I've written black and also white, but really the white refers to a sprinkling of grey on the upper part of his gorgeous coat.  Sad circumstances mean that he is now looking for a new home.  He was adored by his owners and had a fantastic life with them and was very happy.  It is thought that Teddy is about nine years old and is a sturdy build with his beautiful black long haired coat.  As well as being gorgeous to look at, dear Teddy certainly has a personality to match.  He greets people, even strangers, with affection and really loves cuddles.  He often stands on his hind legs to greet you to say hello and also to get more strokes, as he did with me when we first met.  Teddy has now been fully vaccinated and all the signs are that he is in good health.  Teddy was an apparent stray when he was adopted by his previous, totally brilliant and loving owners and they had him for about six years.  He really is a true treasure and when the time comes, somebody will really enjoy caring for him and loving him to bits, as his previous owners did and I am doing now.  He certainly has a lot of love to give and just makes you smile; he's not one for being ignored when you go into him!  He is so very gentle and extremely loving.  He definitely is gentle and loving but as he's a strong build, when he nudges you for a stroke etc, you do know about it!  Teddy enjoys being brushed and seems to take pride in his gorgeous coat, quite right too.  As with Cody, and all our cats and definitely including those who take much longer to trust us humans, it really is impossible not to fall in love with them and definitely including this beautiful, cuddly boy, who really wants someone to love and care for him.  Teddy may well take a while to settle in a new home but the wait will be worth it, I promise you. 
UPDATE  Teddy is still as friendly as ever but he shows signs of being sad too, only because he is on his own for a lot of the time and he longs for company.  He just loves being with somebody and, once he feels settled, just becomes their best friend.  He reminds me of of a big, cuddly teddy bear, but one with loads of love to give.  If you are even vaguely interested in this dear boy, do let us know, with absolutely no commitment at all.  Thank you for reading.
