Oscar
Last but not least is our lovely Oscar we love this guy - he is FIV positive.

He’s such a softie, he gives a hiss but don’t be put off by this -  but we now think this is cat for hello in Oscar’s language.

You just get one “hello” then he submits for cuddles and is a complete softie, Oscar sure has a special place in bevs heart.

At the moment his bloods say he’s a completely healthy cat doing really well, he just needs a home with someone to love him.

FIV cats can live quite effectively next to other young cats with no immunity problems, with other FIV cats or as a single cat in the house.

Oscar is covered on every eventuality under our vets, so many things can happen with an FIV cat however on the other hand FIV cats can lead a normal healthy life without people knowing. It all depends on the cat and the immune system.

The feeder who brought us Oscar certainly brought him to the right rescue, he would have been put to sleep if given to Cats Protection under their “new rules”.
