Eli -- REHOMED --
Our lanky, lollop, Eli, was handed into a veterinary practice in Manchester a couple of weeks before Christmas. Clearly a wandering stray but not microchipped they did their best to find his owner but, sadly, it proved impossible. In the new year, they asked us if we could take Eli into care and find the lovely chap a new home.

It’s very difficult to estimate his age – he has had a tooth removed and had a dental scale whilst in our care so the vets have estimated ten, maybe thirteen, years old. He appears in good health, has started his vaccinations and, hooray, is now microchipped!

Eli is a striking cat, not easy to photograph, has one blue eye and one green eye. For a cat with white ears, they are in remarkable condition with not a hint of sunburn so was he an indoor only cat in his previous life – if only he could talk!

Eli has only been with us a few weeks but he’s proving to be a confident, happy soul who seems to take everything in his stride. If you think he might become a suitable companion for your family, please read on.

Age? Estimated at 10yrs old (please see the write up)
Model? Domestic shorthair, white and black, large and lanky.
Suitability? A calm and friendly cat, suitable for adult families
Other cats? Will be fine if introduced properly to a female(s) but wouldn’t recommend another male.
Indoor cat? He’ll need to go outside when older so no busy roads please.
Children? Probably, as a middle aged cat, best avoided.
Personality? Chilled, strokes and being picked up. Purrs nicely.
How about dogs? Will be fine if introduced properly.
