Socks (formally Sandy) is a gorgeous black and white cat with lovely white whiskers and paws. He is also known as Sandy to his lovely foster carer. He has been in foster care since June 2019.
 
Socks was previously living as a stray and he didn’t know where his next meal would come from.  Luckily a member of the public notified the charity of his plight and he was taken into our care.
 
He came in very skinny and looked as though he was crying as his eyes were weeping so badly. However, after a visit to the vets and treatment, he is now a healthy boy. His blood tests are all good.
 
Socks was recently visited by a trustee of the charity and although he was a little shy at first, he did come out for some cuddles. He likes his catnip and food and uses the litter tray well.
 
He enjoys a gentle fuss and head rubs, he can still feel nervous though, but this is getting better the more time he spends with people.
 
There is a an adoption fee of £75 and we carry out home checks to potential adopters.
