Dolly & Mr Tabz

Mr Tabz is our longest resident at the meadows, he has seen all his brothers get homed and lost his best friend along the way, tabs had made a real bond with Owen and they got along great, then miss Dolly came along and made it a trio as they were very close and Owen being a fuss bug was helping Tabz & Dolly to find their confidence, as they share this bond we are looking for these two to find a loving patient home together, where baby steps will be needed to gain their trust and build up their confidence They are at a point where they need to be worked with by a constant person/family in a home environment where they are able to get used to their surroundings and learn to trust.

So Dolly, when Dolly arrived in our care she was absolutely petrified, she was a fairly young cat and had her kittens with her, as she stopped feeding them they had to be hand reared and they have gone on to their forever homes. Since then she has made slow progress & then she met Owen and Tabz. After being spayed and recovering she was introduced to them in their pen and they bonded instantly, They all played together when they thought you weren’t looking and Owen showed them the world wasn’t soo scary.

Tabz came in as part of a colony, he was the poorly one with cat flu when he arrived and had to spend some time away from the others so he could be treated, he is still very timid but will play and will allow the odd stroke now and then and he does like the grooming glove that one of our volunteers uses with both Tabz and Dolly, she has put in lots of time to help these two babies.

In a morning these two are both by their door waiting for breakfast, Dolly will go back to her bed when you go in and Tabz will say hello and does like to greet the other cats in the block to say good morning as Owen used to. They both love each other and spend the nights curled up in the same bed together. Dolly & Tabz are going to be a duo that will need lots of work and the more work and time put into them the more you will be rewarded when they come around to you, it is not going to be easy so please only apply if you are willing to put the time in. Home checks and fees apply, They will need to be kept indoors for 9 months as they are so timid, please no busy roads or a catio or cat proof garden would be needed.
