***Special appeal***Misha (4) is a cat that that lost her will to live. She is currently in an emergency foster care and on antidepressants, after narrowly escaping euthanasia. Misha's owner has bought her as a tiny kitten. They moved multiple times, and last year her owner got pregnant and contacted the rescues wanting to give up Misha. I came to collect a cat that was so aggressive that she was bouncing off the walls, she was biting and scratching. Misha's owner looked for kittens for sale and got conned by an illegal breeder who told her the kitten is 8 weeks old and ready to go, however the vet estimated kittens age at barely a month or so old. In 3 years Misha moved 4 times, with frequent boarding when the owner travelled. In the last year of Misha's life, she has experienced a house preparation for a baby, the focus on the mum's belly, and finally the birth of a child. Misha was being locked away and left alone during that time. Today Misha is a severely traumatised cat who hates humans. She barely ate for a month, and she spends her days growling, trembling and crying. We are realistic, so we know that Misha will now need to stay in a severe trauma foster care for months. She's been aggressive for nearly a year now, and it will likely take this long to reverse this into just a regular gentle cat she once was. We are looking for an experienced person who owns a property and has no plans to move. No children, no other pets, no flat share. Misha is an indoor only cat. In her 'original self' Misha was shy of strangers and quiet, but cuddly and loving towards her mum. She loved sleeping on her bed. Once her world will stop spinning around, she will be that lovely kitty again. But she needs a STABLE and quiet home with a parent protecting her and reassuring her that she's safe and loved. This is a very delicate little life that needs a lot of reassurance and patience. Misha is neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated and fully vaccinated including leukaemia.
