Wendy

My name is Wendy, I arrived into the rescue in October as I was neglected. The rescue followed their procedure, and I was later relinquished over to their care so I could the the treatment I needed.

Since arriving I have flourished into a special little madam, and look like a totally different cat. I had an awful flea allergy, I was so itchy and sore – even the vets were shocked. My fur has all grown back, I have put weight on, and the vets have given me the all clear for me to find my new home.

I’m an adorable girl and like to be the boss; I maybe small but I have a huge personality. I am independent and like to do my own thing, but I also like to be the center of attention when it want it!

Cuddles and playing are my favourite thing. I love being stroked, but I dislike being picked up. Given the opportunity I love having bed snuggles, either just curled up asleep, or sleeping on your chest with my head on your shoulder. Play time is also the best, I love to play! My favourite toy is a feather teaser, which I can play with for ages. Catnip toys are also fun. I love to run up and down the stairs with my toys.

I did have a blood test at the start of 2022, which did show slight kidney insufficiency. This just means that in the future I could be more prone to developing chronic kidney disease. To help prevent this my vets have advised that I have renal dry food, and a good quality meat. Even though this has shown on my bloods, I am otherwise healthy; I show no signs of any kidney issues, and the rescue and my vets aren’t concerned.

I am looking for my new home without any other pets or children.

If you are interested in offering me my new home then please visit the rescues website for the Adoption process: http://blackpoolninelives.co.uk/adoption-process/
