Stanley

My name is Stanley, I arrived in the rescue in October, as I was a long term stray. I was very elusive, nobody hardly saw me whilst I was on the streets. The place I called home was a derelict factory; the cold, concrete, rubble floors was my bed. I was a forgotten stray, but now I am a confident love bug.

I love nothing more than cuddles, and I will purr away to my hearts content. Despite me being a big lad, I have a delicate meow. I will let you know when I want to be picked up for cuddles, or when I am hungry – so don’t worry, you won’t forget!

I do have calicivirus, which is a chronic disease. So I may have flare ups, but treatment does help me. From time to time I may require steroid and antibiotic injections. Because of my calicivirus, I find it much easier to eat soft foods (pate, and mousses), rather than dry or chunky foods. My favourite treats are soft cooked chicken, and lick-e-lix’s.

All I am just waiting for now, is my new home.

Ideally I am looking for an adoptive home, however the rescue is willing to discuss long term foster due to my medical needs. If my medical issue is of concern, but you are interested in offering me a home, please add that to your application.

I am looking for a quieter home that I can call my own, with no other pets, or children. A comfy bed, and a warm lap to sit on is a must.

If you are interested in offering me my new home then please visit the rescues website for the Adoption process: http://blackpoolninelives.co.uk/adoption-process/
