Meet Roofi. This poor old boy is very unsure and a cuddle monster, but very old and not in the best of health, so I doubt anyone will ever offer him a forever home.
He came into rescue late November, the vet says he is very old, at least 15 and was an unneutered stray. His teeth and gums were so rotten he sucked in the food he was offered by his finder and needless to say was just skin and bone and may not have lasted much longer.
He started to recover after being neutered and having 5 teeth removed then he developed a urine infection, so back on antibiotics again and still struggling with a slight incontinence all he can offer anyone is his love and purrs. It breaks my heart that he was on the streets at that age but I am so pleased he is now warm, well fed and safe.
I have my own dogs and cats and he seems a little overwhelmed by too much noise and cafuffle but as he feels better this may improve.
This is his second chance and probably his last chance to find someone to love him and worth it every day if the week.
