CASPER
Casper the cat with cattitude. Why does no one want to give this lad a chance? Not one offer for this gorgeous gent and as old age looms he really is looking for somewhere to rest his furry paws. Yes he has cattitude, but he has never had a home, never been able to sit on a comfy bed, never known he was really safe. I have had him for over a month now, he came in unwell and swiping, but he didn’t know he was going to start to feel better, he didn’t know he was going to sleep on a comfy bed and get strokes. He hasn’t swiped in over a month, in fact I get purrs and head bumps, he meows to great me, he trusts me now. All it took was time and now all he is waiting for is someone to give him a chance to ‘come home’ please consider Casper. This handsome boy really has had such a tough life so far, but despite all he has been through he is so deserving of his happy ever after.
He has been a stray for many years surviving on food from kind folk but thought to be around 10 years old his health was deteriorating and finally he was trapped him and he was straight to the vets for an emergency vet appointment, he had his infected abscess on his foot treated, he had his rotten teeth removed, he had antibiotics for a nasty urine infection and was neutered and microchipped and sent home to our care to recover. He isn’t too fussed by much actually, he is happy with a comfy bed and a full tummy but wouldn’t be suitable for a family with children, he isn’t used to busy. He loves to chat but that’s mainly asking for food, he loves his food ! He gives head bumps and purrs but he will also hiss at you, he needs to know he is safe, he hasn’t been safe for such a long while.
Four things he needs
1. Food, treats and more food.
2. A large comfy bed, preferably in a sun spot.
3. A high sided litter tray as he is a litter flicker.
4. Access to outside space
Now he is fully recovered he needs a place to call home with people willing to give him a chance and time to settle. He is no trouble and he is particularly handsome too.
