Pocket
Pocket and Florence owners tells us about them-
The two cats are pedigree Bengals that we have kept for circa eight years. We initially bought Florence as a kitten in 2013 from a breeder and then a year later we bought her mum (Pocket) as we felt she might like some company. The two cats have both been neutered since before being reunited but have never really gotten along and go through periods of aggression with each other.

Three years previously we had our first child and at this time both cats began to urinate on soft furnishings in the house, concentrating on the rugs in our first, then second child's room. We have tried various sprays, scents and behavioural techniques to reduce the urinating and fighting between the cats however this has not helped. They have sufficient space in our house and both have access to the outside so we do not feel the issue is lack of territory.

After a lot of consideration, we have decided we want to rehome our cats due to the impact they are having on our household. We also feel that they are not either particularly happy fighting with each other and being kept out of rooms due to the urinating.

Despite the above negatives I have outlined in respect of the cats' behaviour they are both fairly loving cats who enjoy sitting on or beside people. They are both fairly vocal and enjoy attention. If permitted, they will also sleep on the same bed as us. Florence can sometimes growl, bat and/or snap at people she is not familiar with but she does warm to new people over time.

We feel our cats would benefit from being rehomed separately to households without other cats and children under 5.
We would consider contributing to the ongoing upkeep of the cats with the new owners provided the new owner was otherwise suitable and they would not mind providing receipts that the funds were being used on the cats.
We are currently located near Ecclesall Road in Sheffield and would be happy to let suitable potential new owners come and view the cats in our home (covid restrictions permitting). We can also be patient in finding a new home for the cats- we would sooner wait to find the right home for them, rather than the cats go to an unsuitable home.
