Mustang Sally
About Mustang Sally DoB 17 April 2015 Weight 3.9 - 4kg Best Location for Sally: Please note Sally is in a semi rural area, so something in a village or out in the country where she can explore would be best for her. Sally has been with PetPlan since I have had her. I 2018 Sally had a bad broken leg which had to be pinned back together. The operation went well. But it is possible that later in her life she might suffer with some lameness in the leg or joint, so if you change insurance they won’t pay for an old issue. Sally has alway been on the Advocate flea treatment, which you can only get from a vet. She doesn’t like this at all, but it is very important for her, she had some very bad coat loss, because it was applied late. The coat has grown back well. Please take your time when applying the advocate and just talk to her, as you apply it, rub it in for her. She will run away at first but just keep calling her, she will be back to her normal self soon. The wormer is taken every 3 months. So Sally will get the Advocate then two weeks later the wormer then two weeks later the Advocate, then monthly after that until it’s time for the wormer again. Sally has her folder with all her medical history, including her family tree. Her vaccination card is up to date, she will be due in July I think.  Sally has a very slight heart murmur but this does not affect  her in anyway.  It might be good to use FELIWAY Classic Diffuser, these work well to calm cats. Sally was sadly abused before I got her! It took her 6 weeks before she would let me touch her. It took her 6 years before she would sit on my lap, now I can’t get her off! She will sit on my computer keyboard if I am working too much, or if she wants attention, which is all the time. She is extremely talkative. She hates anyone who shouts and will run off, please be very aware of this. She is not keen in you having phone calls! She will take you for walks if you are willing to follow her 2 hours! She will walk on a lead with her two harnesses. She likes the car and the bus, she has been to London on the train. She is not keen on dogs that bark or other cats. I have not seen her with children, but can’t see any issues. She loves to play, keep it simple, a bit of string on a stick, feathers. I have six platforms on my walls which allow Sally to get up high and she will run around on these if you want to have a good workout, you can have these, I have a fixed wall mounted scratch pole which you can have. A heat matt for the colder months. Sally loves to hog the heater. Sally will play with water but on her terms. And she can be very funny and stupid, to the point where I nearly wet myself laughing. She will get into everything! Because as Sally says what’s yours is mine and what’s is mine! Don’t have her around when making a bed as it will never get made! Sally will want the windows open so she can climb out of them, ground floor only. I have never socialised Sally, because tried to steal her from me. But she is extremely loving and gives as much as she gets. She is not keen on being picked up, but in time, if your patient it will work, just remember she was abused, that will always be in the back of her mind! Sleeping: Where she wants! She will find somewhere safe and warm. Or in my case, when I feel I am having an Asthma attack at 4am and open my eyes to find Sally’s bum looking at me and I have a 4 kg cat on my chest I can relax knowing i don’t need my inhaler and I’m not going to die! Food: James Welbeloved Adult Turkey 1 full scoop daily, for breakfast Sally likes one filet of sardine in tomato sauce. I buy John West boneless sardines in tomato sauce. For a treat she likes sandwich chicken or Ham. Please don’t feed her wet foods as this gives her diarrhoea! She doesn’t like any cat nibbles. I will provide a 4 kg bag of food to take with you. And all her belongings If possible I would like to be informed of Sally's progress. I really love her, and it is going to break my heart to give her up. I want, her to be loved more than I loved her. If you can't do that then please don't take her.
