Spot
Spot has had a long history with us, He arrived first back in 2012 with his mum and son after their owner was about to become homeless when his rented property was sold with very little notice. Spot and his mum then spent the next three years in foster care with no one coming forward to adopt them and even featured in an article in the Daily Mail as two of the fifteen hardest to home cats in Britain due to the length of time they had been in a charity's care. We were obviously absolutely thrilled for Spot and his mum Fluff then when at the end of 2015 after nearly four years the pair of them found the perfect home with an older couple who adored them. We said goodbye, off they went and wwe counted it as a long awaited success. Sadly though this wasn't to last, after just over a year in their new home one of the couple who had adopted them became very ill whilst on holiday and was diagnosed as terminally ill. Spot and Fluff returned to their foster home and have been there since, Fluff is now quite elderly with some health issues but Spot is a healthy, slighty set in his ways 14 year old and we would like to find him his last and permanent home for his pensionable years. Spot is like many cats, fuss is on his own terms, he chooses when and you will get a nip if you persist . He likes to sleep on the end of the bed but is a very early riser and thinks you should be too especially when breakfast needs serving. He is just a slightly grumpy grandad type really. He would make a good companion for someone older, we would like a home with no other pets and no children ideally so he can settle down, find his feet and set the daily routines in motion.
