Rehoming Cats & Kittens: Leicestershire & Warwickshire
Laura
Laura was a big surprise for someone who after returning from an extended holiday went out to her garage to use the tumble dryer and found Laura and her two babies in situ. They were all very frightened and some backwards and forwards trips were done by the finder as they were all individually trapped. The kittens were moved to a fosterer for socialising as they were a little bit feral and Laura started to settle in her foster home. She has definitely been a pet before but is just a bit hand shy, we suspect that she was probably one of last yeras kittens who was no longer wanted once she wasn't quite so little and cute and turned out to fend for herself. She obviously got pregnant and although not very old herself then had to bring up her babies as best she could. That is all over for her now though, she has been been neutered and is starting to learn to play and enjoy life. She is a lovely girl who needs a a gentle approach but she loves fuss and will rub round purring away. She adores food too and forgets she is nervous in her haste to get at it. She is not hugely keen on other cats, more tolerating them than enjoying their company but seems to not mind dogs. She could be homed with older children who would handle her sensibly.
