Missie is a very beautiful girl who came into us as an emergency as she was en route to be euthanised after "attacking" the child she lived with. The person taking her was extremely reluctant to do so her being so very young and in she came. Initially she was terrified and appeared to show every bit of the aggression claimed however over time it became more apparent that far from being naturally aggressive she had been subject to quite rough handling and was responding fearfully to people.

She was very scared of hands and feet, although craving fuss and attention she would suddenly lash out at sudden movements. Her fosterer has with time and careful gentle handling worked through this with her and Missie is now much better and calmer. We are looking for an adult only home for her though who will understand and carry on with all the good work and progress.

Missie is very cute, she likes to wrap her front legs around your arms or legs when she wants a fuss, a cuddle under a quilt is a big favourite. She is very talkative, playful, likes drinking from taps and has a regular crazy half hour. She craves attention and even goes into the bathroom and tries to sit a pair of lowered trousers ! She is fine with dogs and could be homed possibly with another cat.
