I’ve been with Willows since October 2020. I was unneutered and crossing a busy road to get to a ladies garden every day to be fed. I was trapped one day and was so terrified I hid my undomesticated ways. I was neutered and taken to the shelter. It was nice and cosy but I hid. Didn’t want to be touched. Even after a few months the kind volunteers got nothing from me. So I was moved to a foster home with two patient humans. With a stuffed glove on a stick they slowly got me used to being stroked. In the 11 months I’ve been in foster care I’ve learnt to trust my ‘Uncle Pawl’ and will sit on his knee and enjoy strokes. I missed my two humans when they went on holiday recently.  But I did allow the cat-sitter to see and touch me (I remembered her… the same tabby haired lady that trapped me). I  love looking out the window at the squirrels and my cat friend. Whoever is kind and patient enough to take me on would need to understand I will NEVER be a normal pet. As soon as I am moved, a lot of my progress would be lost and I would need to build a trust again with someone new, which would take months and months. So I need a mature quiet home with no other pets nor children EVER, as I am still terrified of most things and people. Much more details and advice would be given about me. If you can offer me the right home email [email protected]
