Hello, I'm Darwin. I came into the care of CP as a stray with my sister and my mum. Our mum has now left us and gone to her new home and our foster mum feels the time is now right for us to look for our forever home.
 
I'm a timid/ nervous boy, approximately 4 months of age.
 
I like to give my foster mum the run around when she tries to catch me but once she's caught me I will happily lie in her arms for a stroke, chin rub and tickle. I do like a tummy rub and tickle. I sometimes hiss - my foster mum laughs at me pretending to be a lion. I only do this to try to protect myself as I'm a bit nervous and certainly not vicious.
 
Due to my nervous nature, my ideal home will be a quiet and calm one with an experienced cat owner, who will be prepared to give me time and support and encouragement to adjust and grow in confidence. Due to my nervous and timid nature I am not suitable to be homed with young children or other pets.
 
I have lovely thick soft fur and enjoy being brushed. I have been neutered, microchipped, blood-tested, flea and worm treated and fully vaccinated.
 
Ideally I'd like to find a new home with my sister Dinah as she is good company and plays with me and together we provide mutual support and confidence to one another. I shall come complete with 4 weeks of free PetPlan insurance for peace of mind together with a medical summary form declaring me fit for homing. Initially I may hide for a week but you will soon hear me chirupping, as I get to know you won't hurt me. I haven't shown any signs of temper or aggressiveness whatsoever in care. If you live in rented accommodation proof of your tenancy allowing pets/ cats shall be required as part of the vetting process.
