Welwyn Hatfield District Branch Cat Protection can help with Information, Welfare and Neutering advice and issues for residents in AL6-AL10 postcodes.

Welwyn Hatfield District Branch of Cats Protection are happy to dispense feline information freely to anyone who wishes it. We offer educational talks at local schools, and we have a trained, dedicated volunteer who is very enthusiastic to teach youngsters, the owners of the future.

Un-neutered cats can be more prone to diseases and, of course, can cause innumerable unwanted kittens. We are able to offer free or assisted neutering for those unable to afford it.

Before leaving our care, all cats will have been checked thoroughly by a vet for any health issues, vaccinated, micro-chipped and, if old enough, neutered. Where a kitten is re-homed and is too young to be neutered, we offer advice and assistance to get them neutered at the appropriate time and follow up to ensure this has gone smoothly.
