testimonials about cat chat
gemini cat introduces the pageAh yes, now this is a lovely page!

We get lots of emails and letters from rescue groups telling us how Cat Chat has helped with their homing. It seems also, that many people referred to rescues through our site have adopted adult cats rather than kittens, and a good number of Senior Kittizens too, which is fantastic news! (a cause close to my heart, seeing as I'm 'over ten' myself).
Below are just a few of the lovely comments we have received.

What Rescues say about Cat Chat...

Hi All, once again Catchat has won the day!! Thank you to Catchat for playing a major part in finding Dolly a lovely new home. Most of our cats are homed via your wonderful website. Very best wishes.
Cat Action Trust 1977, Bewdley Branch

cat homed from kirkby cats home nottsA great start for 2010 for some of our moggies. Four cats - Pippa, Tigger, Mango and Toupee all found homes in the first few days of the New Year. We couldn’t do it without you!
Cats in Need, Nuneaton & Hinckley

Your website really, really helps us to home our cats - about half of the cats and kittens we home every year are homed through catchat. So probably you help us to home about 150 cats and kittens a year, so many thanks for your help.
Cat Action Trust, Lanarkshire branch

Thankyou for the Top Cats listing for Malakye (our blind cat) and his friend Horace and the super home it brought, we can't believe it! We are delighted and think this is our best homing this year. Thankyou.
Burton Joyce Cat Welfre, Notts.

Hi, Thank you so much for your website! Since we put our cats on CatChat we have had a record month - we have rehomed 22 cats in July, typically a really slow month. We have been rehoming so fast that people calling about a particular cat on CatChat have actually missed the one they wanted and have ended up taking another one instead. Our biggest success was rehoming 15yr old Mousey this week. I am so glad that we joined your website.
RSPCA London South East

Dear CatChat, Wonderful news... within one day of our  cats photos appearing on Catchat, Tilly the kitten had a lovely new home and then 3 days later, Winnie the cat (who'd been with us since February this year) had got a home too! Many thanks for helping with this!
RSPCA Craven & Upper Wharfedale Branch

Hi all - Gosh what a surprise. This site is wonderful. We've homed 7 cats already. Charlie, Kizzy, Shadow, Ben and Gizmo and Suen and Cheesecake, and the quality of the homes is really good as well. Thank goodness for Cat Chat.
Cat Action Trust 1977, East Kilbride branch

cat homed from kirkby cats home nottsWe have rehomed another pair of cats thanks to all your efforts on our behalf. What did we all do before Cat Chat existed?! Thank you so much.
Clacton Animal Aid

Hope all is well at Cat Chat. Just to say, it's such a marvellous site. We have never rehomed so many cats in such a short space of time. Thank you so much for all you do. Over 20 cats & kittens have be rehomed since the New Year, many of which were virtually classed as impossible to rehome!!!!! This website is a real life-saver.
Cat Action Trust 1977, Central & West London branch

Goodness knows what we would do without you!! We have found some wonderful homes through Cat Chat. Please keep up the great work you do, not just for all us at the recues but much more importantly for all the wonderful babies we can help. YOU LOT ARE GREAT!!! Many thanks from us all at London Cat Rescue.
London Cat Rescue, N8

Thank you for doing a terrific job, the responses we have had since joining your pages has been outstanding!
Wettenhall Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Cheshire

Rolf & Harris have found their forever home, just in time for Xmas! The branch has been inundated with calls about all the cats, thanks to Cat Chat. We're really pleased with the reaction to the web page so far. Keep up the good work all at Cat Chat!
Cat Action Trust 1977, Central & West London branch

Hi there, We are pleased to report that we have homed over 14 cats and kittens this week thanks to cat chat. many thanks.
Cat & Kitten Rescue, Watford, Herts

cat homed from kirkby cats home nottsIn all honesty,  I really don't know how we'd manage now without Cat Chat.  You've been a  life-saver - not just to our charity, but also to our cats. Loads of purrs,
Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Notts

We are having a truly great re-homing week thanks to Cat Chat. Your site is working absolute wonders for us and we are extremely grateful for your continued support!
Cat Action Trust, Carmarthenshire Branch

Hello CatChat, Sookie had been with us for quite a time, but as soon as she became a TopCat, she got homed, as have quite a few lately. So I'm happy to inform you that your site really does work when they become TopCats. I best find the next one now for you!
Wellingborough & Rushden Cats Protection

Just to thank you wonderful lot for being so wonderful!  We got our lovely kittens homed, and we get enquiries because people see us on your really fabulous website! Keep up all the good work,
Belfast Animal Rescue

Hi Wonderful Peeps at CC!
Brilliant news, we've homed Sassy, Sox, Godfrey and Lily!! All thanks to CC, plus two others that a lady took thanks to our CC web page! You are brilliant and the cats and myself can't thank you enough! Right must go and get the kitten from the top of the curtains...
Animal Concern Cumbria (South Lakes)

We have now homed all the hoarder's cats. People ringing about our cats on your website took the others - last 3 should go tomorrow. Thanks again for all your help, your site is the best means I have found for homing cats.
Springfield Animal Rescue, Chelmsford

cat homed from kirkby cats home nottsVia your "Top Cats" page Rue and Tia have found a very nice lady that has taken them on together. Thank you so much, we have ran advertisements locally with no interest and it seems that the way forward is very much via the internet and Cat Chat.
Cats Friends, Northants

Hi guys, More good news - 3 more of our cats have found new homes after being spotted on catchat - Beattie, Snoopy and Jasper all say a huge thank you! We can't believe how good this website is!
Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue

Well - you've done it again!! Both Splodge and Fluffy have got brilliant homes thanks to Cat Chat! We are delighted - homing is soooo hard but people seem to go to your virtual shelter thick and fast!! Thank you and lots of purrs from those lucky cats settling into their new homes.
Belfast Animal Rescue

Cat Chat is working absolute wonders for us and I  am extremely grateful for your continued support!
Chapelhouse Persian Rescue, Cheshire

It really is amazing how many more enquiries we get thanks to our Cat Chat webpage. That's three cats, Hobson, Blossom and Sooty two of which had been in a long time, in wonderful homes in time for Christmas. Thank you Cat Chat!
Animal Concern Cumbria North Lakes and Solway branch

Once again, grateful thanks to Catchat for helping us to rehome yet another two kittens - that's 7 kittens in the past month!!  I really don't know what our branch would do without the help and support of your website.  It seems most people looking to rehome a kitten/cat check your website.  Magnificent!!
Dornoch & Cromarty Firth Branch Cats Protection

Just to let you know Dinky was homed straight away after been spotted on Cat Chat. I cannot believe it.  This  week we have had several calls and are now looking at homing up to six cats  once we have done the home checks. Your service is utterly  brilliant, Thank you so much for this opportunity it is unreal seeing these cats go to lovely homes thank you.
Team Cat Rescue, Birmingham

Just wanted to say thankyou to you as I have had some enquiries and rehomed some cats from people who have accessed your site. Like you, I believe that big things can be accomplished when we all work together, so thankyou once again.
Posh Puss Rescue, Cornwall

cat homed from national animal welfare trust graysWhat a wonderful week Belfast Animal Rescue has had and it's all down to Catchat! One lady who came to us through you was amazing - how many times do people say as she did "I'll take the cat that would be the hardest to home"? It certainly seems that here in Northern Ireland where shelters are closing and no new ones opening, a 24/7 virtual shelter is the way forward! Many many thanks from all of us.
Belfast Animal Rescue

These days I use only your web site to get homes - as I have had such good homes from it.
Fosterer for Bromley & District Cat Rescue

Many thanks for your continued excellent work.  We have never homed so many kittens before and most of our enquiries come through Cat Chat.
Cat & Kitten Rescue, Watford, Herts

You won't believe it but since I sent the email to you, two of the three kittens have been homed! Usually we are swamped with cats but now we have your help, we have almost none!
Independent Cat Rescue, Dewsbury, W. Yorkshire

Just letting you know we have rehomed quite a lot of cats recently & most of them have been as a result of people seeing us through your site. So thanks very much, we are very grateful, & so are the cats!!
Manchester & Salford RSPCA

You are a lifeline especially for the smaller charities like us. The number of prospective homes that the site reaches is incredible and some seriously longterm cats have been homed. Long live Catchat !
Cat Action Trust 1977 (Nuneaton & Hinckley branch)

cat homed from national animal welfare trust graysThanks for all your help and again a great website that had helped rehomed so many cats this year.
Canterbury Cats Protection

Cat chat has been invaluable to us and has helped find homes for many cats in our care, including a black and white cat named Titas who we thought would be with us for ever, now very happy and settled in a new home.
Animal Concern Cumbria, North Lakes & Solway branch

Thanks for all the work you do, without the web page I’m not sure how we would cope.
Rotherham Rescue Rangers

Catchat has been a boon to us.  We get more calls from there than anywhere else.  Often with our talking to the people they decide that the cat they ring up about is not the one for them, but we discuss another one which may not be on the website and they come to see us.  If they live too far away I often recommend another charity, which is one of the reasons why we use the website frequently.
National Animal Welfare Trust, Grays, Thurrock

Your site is more helpful and informative than any around. We think your hard work is invaluable to all rescues and we wouldn't be without you. Thank you from all all of us.
Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, Oldham

Misty, Amble, James, Ivor, Silk, Will & Grace, Muffin, Jade, Shadow, Ollie and Churchill would like to give a big purr to catchat for finding them lovely homes very quickly due to the closure of the cattery. Within 16 weeks of our web page being displayed on the catchat site, all our cats finally went to their forever homes. For some, like Churchill, Will & Grace, they had spent so many years confined to a cattery. They are now making up for lost time and enjoying life to the full. And there’s no happier ending than that!
I would say to any rescue, if you are not using catchat, why not? There’s only one loser, the mogs, if you don’t.
Animal Concern Cumbria, Nr Staveley Cattery

Catchat, we just don't know what to say. We have homed three cats who were featured on the site but as a result of calls received we also homed several other cats, including two who had been in our care for a long time and had very specific needs. All calls received have been genuine and good quality. We are thrilled!
cat homed from national animal welfare trust graysCat Action Trust 1977 (Nuneaton & Hinckley)

What a fabulous, brilliant and exceptional and consistant site !!! It is getting to the stage where we cant imagine being without you!! Big Big thank you and you are really appreciated.
Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, Oldham

Thank you so much for all the interest we have had via the internet since we set up on your site, a high percentage of our cats have been homed after people have seen them on Catchat. I don't always get the details through of exactly which cats were homed as a result of Catchat but I know it's a lot.
Thanks very much,
Reading and District Cats Protection

Thank you so much for such a wonderful web site - I don't know what we would do without you!!! I am truly amazed at the wonderful response we get!!!! We are always inundated with pussycats and never never have enough foster homes, but with your help lately we have managed to rehome a lot more and much more quickly, meaning we can free up the few foster homes to take in more babies. Thank you so much for your help !!!
RSPCA London North East

Just thought I would share some fantastic news, so far this year NANNA has rehomed a whopping 48 cats in 7 weeks! The majority, if not all, was thanks to your website. Words can not say the thanks you deserve.
Northamptonshire Animals Needing Nurturing & Adoption

yogi black cat homed through cat chatYou do an absolutely fantastic job and we are so lucky to have you as you are such a valuable much needed scource of re-homing. We're begining to wonder how we managed without you!!! We really can't thank you enough, xxx
Pennine Pen Animal Rescue, Oldham

I thought you might like to know that for the first time since we have been rescuing cats, we are completely out of kittens, due solely to Cat Chat - Thanks a million!
Ann & Bill's Cat & Kitten Rescue, Hornchurch

Hi, I just thought I'd give you an update - although it's only a couple of months since our link went on your site we have already homed at least four cats because of it. Many hugs and purrs,
Rolvenden & Romney Marsh Cat Rescue, Kent

Gemini, Colonel Beau and Pickford.  You have done it again.  Our homing page has only been live for one week and so far four of our cats have found homes.  Little Poppy has gone with Rebecca and Lenny and Roger have found a home together. Luv you all.
Furry Tails Feline Welfare, Blackpool

Hi Everyone, as quick as they go out they are coming in! We have so many people who are logging onto Catchat and watching each day for cats It's brilliant. I don't know what we would do without you now!!

Cat Action Trust 1977 (Shaw branch)

What a month! I can't believe how quickly our cats are finding new homes at the moment, it's absolutely brilliant. In the last week through Catchat we have rehomed 6 cats. What would we do without you! Thankyou from all at Oak Tree Farm and all our loved-up pussycats.
RSPCA Altrincham

Thank god we found Catchat our homing is so much more efficient!! Many thanks to you all.
Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare

Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your wonderful site. We have homed so many cats through our Homing page on Cat Chat, from the first time we used it to the present, and recently the number of enquiries has noticeably increased. In fact now we don't know what we'd do without you! Love and purrs from SNIP.
SNIP (Society to Neuter Islington's Pussies)

We seem to be doing quite well at the moment, and the website is responsible for a lot of our enquiries. We also take a lot of cats from a nearby vets who rescue all the 'put to sleep because we don't want it' cases, and a lot of those have been homed through catchat.
Burton Joyce Cat Welfare

We can't believe it, four more of our cats have landed on their paws and got a new home due to our Cat Chat web page. We seem to be getting a lot more enquiries just lately and all due to the website, the phone never stopped ringing yesterday, I have been told to slow down adding new cats!
Burton Joyce Cat Welfare

We would like to pass on our thanks to you, as we have re-homed a lot of cats and kittens directly as a result of having our web page. Many thanks again.
Rotherham Rescue Rangers

cat homed through cat chatHi Everyone, Many, many thanks to Catchat. We have found (or they have found us) via the Catchat site many exellent quality homes for our cats and kittens KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! YOU all deserve a big paw on the back.
Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare

Thank you for all your support. I'm pleased to say that more and more people visit us each day as a result of Cat Chat.  Many Thanks!
RSPCA Stapeley Grange Cattery

Hi from Cat & Kitten Rescue, we have a rehoming page with you and it has worked wonders.  We are homing more cats than ever before and the quality of the homes is brilliant - thanks so much and keep up the good work! (We home almost exclusively through the pages on catchat now, and because of it's success have removed our entries in the yellow pages!)
Cat & Kitten Rescue, (Beds & Herts)

Thanks for all your help and for such a great website - it is really nice to have people to help us little one man bands.
Eight Lives Left Kitten Rescue, Gosport, Hampshire

I've just had another successful rehoming from my Cat Chat homing page, which makes six so far this year - a record for my little rescue. The quality of enquiries through Catchat is excellent, and I don't need any other advertising now - just Catchat!
Bromley Cat Rescue

I just want to give a big clap, hug, thanks and praise for this wonderful website. It has been a God-send, not a day goes by when I don't get an enquiry and it has generated a lot of wonderful homes. As a service that benefits so many cats I think it is fantastic I don't know where we would be without this facility. Top Work!!!
Wigan & Atherton Cats Protection

Many thanks for all your help, you do run an excellent site, and it seems just recently that I am getting more and more phone calls from people who have looked at our homing page, which is brilliant!
Great Amwell & District Cats Protection

cat homed through cat chatOur rescue homed 42 adult cats last year, and are pleased to report that as a result of your wonderful idea to give small rescues like ours free space, 20 cats, (almost 50%), found loving homes with new owners as a direct result of being displayed on your website.  Quite a few of those would normally be classed as hard to home because of age, colour or very timid disposition. The cats placed during 2005 were: Leo and Lucinda, Foxy, Petal, Honey,Squartzy, Missy, Charlie Boy, Gremlin, Chiachie, Miss Tibbs, Jessica, Pedro, Copper, Jack, Callie, Tom, Chantalle, PJ and last but not least Tinkerbell, very appropriately just before Christmas!
Cat Rescue Ellesmere Port

We've recently installed a program for counting hits to our website - and found that 95% of the hits to us are from Catchat! We would like to thank every one at catchat for your excellent service to the cat rescue world.
Millwood Cat Rescue, Nottinghamshire

Thank you for such a fantastic website! Since we added our first cats to it, we have had the best interest in our charity we have ever had, and rehomed many more cats than usual, and it's all thanks to Cat Chat!
Pets Alone, Stockport

We have just had our first successful homing direct via CatChat - we are thrilled as our webpage has only been up for about a week! The branch are absolutely delighted - many thanks for your help. I am so impressed with your website and the service that goes with it!
Woking & District Cats Protection

cat homed through cat chatWe are getting a lot of interest via our web page with you and lots of people are commenting on how good the Catchat web site is. It's also helping a lot because we have left a message on our answer phone telling people to go on to the page to see what cats/kittens are available. Thank you all.
Mid Cheshire Animal Welfare

We're happy to report two more homings through our Whinnybank catchat page this week. Thanks again for our page as it has surpassed all our expectations!
Whinnybank Cat Sanctuary, Fife, Scotland

We are absolutely delighted with our homing page, and have found many good homes for our cats - in particular the older cats that are sometimes overlooked. We really do appreciate the website and hope that it continues in growth and success. Many thanks.
Wigan and Atherton Cats Protection

Cat Chat has repeatedly proved a valuable source of quality enquiries for The Mayhew, and has played a major part in the success of our re-homing.
The Mayhew Animal Home, London

The Trust receives many referrals from your site, which is fantastic, and Cat Chat really does play a key part in the rehoming of our cats not only from London, but Tunbridge Wells and our Hastings branch too. You must be one of the top rehomers in the country, with all you do for all cat rescue centres. Cats all over the country are purring contentedly in their new homes thanks to you!
Celia Hammond Animal Trust

We are getting a brilliant response from our Cat Chat rehoming page, What's really great is that people getting in touch actually want an adult rather than kittens, so it's really helping us find homes. Thanks ever so much for all you do.
Keighley Cats Protection

The sanctuary has already homed 46 cats and kittens through being part of Cat Chat, and we regularly receive several emails each day from Cat Chat visitors enquiring about our cats. Thank you very much.
New Cramar Cat Sanctuary, West Midlands

cat homed through cat chatI would just like to thank you for this wonderful site, it has done wonders for RSPCA Medway West Cattery, you could say it’s working too well as in February we had hardly any cats left! I can't express enough what your website and our special rehoming page has done for us. We cannot afford advertising and the service you have given us is excellent. Once again, we thank you for everything, it’s very much appreciated.
RSPCA Medway West

Your site has thrown a vital lifeline to our Charity. With your help, we hope to be able to rescue even more sick and injured cats. I just can't tell you how delighted we are with the response we've received so far, thanks to your website, not to mention all of the help, kindness and encouragement you have shown to us. Our Charity is very proud to be associated with Catchat, and we wish you much success with this venture in the future. You deserve it! With our very grateful thanks,
Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Notts

Rosie, Pickle, Bits & Bobs, and one of the other Rosie or Pimms have found new homes this week directly from Cat Chat. Also due to the amazing response for Rosie from Cat Chat, some of those will be chosing other cats once their home visits have been done. Love and Purrs to you!
Hounslow Animal Welfare Society

Just want to let you know how much we are benefiting from your pages. We are particularly delighted that we are receiving regular calls from people prepared to take on more mature cats and we have had some great success in this respect. Thanks for all your continued support.
Feline Friends, Pontefract

cat homed through cat chatWe have had an enormous response from the Cat Chat homing pages. The response has been so large that the staff at the shop can no longer deal with the amount of phone calls we are receiving - not complaining - we now have to consider an answering service/answering machine. Yesterday we re homed 2 cats after being seen on your site and also that's how we found a home for the sisters (normal duo's are with us much longer). Thank you!
The Heatons Animal Rescue Group, Stockport

We’re delighted to tell you that Ted has a new home - and its just perfection. The couple saw him on the front page of Catchat, so it just shows what an important role your website plays in helping to advertise difficult to place cats. A big big hug to you both and thanks again for helping to give Ted a new life.
Dornoch & Cromarty Firth Cats Protection

Handsome, cuddly Bogart packed his bags on Friday and went off to his very own home to meet his new mum and dad and fellow puss cat called Romeo who also is FIV positive. It was totally down to you guys featuring him on your Top Cats. Life is definitely on the up second time round for our Bogart. So thank you! He'd thank you too if he only realised... so a big purr instead.
Trafford Cats Protection

Just wanted to say a big thank you, as catchat has found homes for 2 of our most difficult pairs, Gino & Stella and Harry & Phoebe. We are SOO grateful! As are they!
Animal Rescue & Care, Middlesex

I am writing to let you know of our continued sucess, thanks to Cat Chat's help, of rehoming some of our more difficult members. Connor and Zac have now found a new home where Connor is still helping Zac to overcome his fear of just about everything! We are so glad these two could be homed together. Thanks again Cat Chat,
Royston Animal Welfare, South Yorkshire

cat homed through cat chatI'm so delighted to let you know that two more of our cats have good new homes, thanks to Catchat. One thing we've noticed is that, in stark contrast to many responses to adverts placed in our local newspaper, the people who contact us through our Catchat homing page have all been genuine cat lovers - not just looking for cute kittens as "toys" for the children or "gifts" for their girlfriend. They seem prepared to take on older cats or those with medical conditions, as well as the healthy cats we have up for adoption. I can't tell you how heartening this has been to us. We've had such a fantastic response so far. Thank you, once again, from all of us. What would we have done without you!
Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Notts

I am happy to report that all of our cats from the Top Cats page are now in new homes - Jack, Lionel and the pair Freddie and Gina. We had many calls for them from your site, and often the caller didn't take the cat they had originally called about but another cat in our care - so it has worked!
National Animal Welfare Trust (Grays, Essex)

Just saying thanks for listing us on your site. I am getting a lot of people saying they found us through Cat Chat. Finding good homes is what it is all about and as long as there is a regular source of enquiries every thing starts to operate much more smoothly. A lot of the people contacting us through the web site have been exceptionally good leads, so your help has been invaluable, many many thanks.
Pawz ForThought, Tyne & Wear

Cat Chat is one of the best put together animal welfare sites that we have had the pleasure of visiting. It helps us by featuring our ‘difficult’ cats, and the link to our own web site brings in visitors who would probably not have been aware of our existence.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary, Somerset

We had our first success at rehoming one of our cats due to your wonderful site! Milo was delivered to his new home today, which he immediately liked, thank goodness. It makes all the stress of rescue work worthwhile when we find a really nice home for a poor moggie.
Kingsdown Cat Sanctuary, Deal, Kent

cat homed through cat chatSince having some of our foster cats on your site, we have received quite a few calls from prospective homes due to it. We have also been able to home five harder-to-home cats solely because of your site. Here’s to your continued success!
Rainham & District Cats Protection, Kent

I write to thank Cat Chat for all their help and support. Several of the cats in our care have found suitable loving homes because of the site. It is lively, creative, informative and certainly gets results.
Trafford Cats Protection

Your help in displaying details of our harder to home cats has been invaluable. We have had a number of enquiries generated from the site. We hope you are able to continue the good work, what would we do without people like you?
9 Lives Cat Rescue

Cat Chat has proved a really invaluable source of enquiries for me. Last year I homed some 250 cats, and Cat Chat was key in this. The way in which the site is maintained is excellent, and is one of very few sites we can rely on for consistency and quality of support.
Chapelhouse Persian Rescue

What Members of the Public say about Cat Chat...

I really want to thank you for an excellent site which lead me to one of the rescues listed. Our new kitten Rio had a very tough start and you can tell just how much handling love and attention he has been given by the fosterer. Rio is a complete bundle of joy, very affectionate and loving and thanks to your site now has a very happy family. Many thanks for all the excellent work you do. Kim, the Wirral

Thanks to your site, in the past 3 weeks we have found 3 beautiful new cats, that are bringing joy to our life after the death of our beloved cat recently.  Thank you for such a wonderful site. Lisa, and cats: Max, Meg and Ruby

Hi, I wanted to take a minute say I think what you are doing is amazing. Your website not only gives people a chance to get to know more about cats looking for adoption and more about their 'story' but you actively address the things that stop certain kinds of cats from ever finding a home - old cats, pairs, nervous cats... And the 'homed' pages are so heart-warming :) You are giving every single cat shown an enormous chance they would probably never have had. The more people that know a cat is there, the more likely they are of finding the perfect match. I'm sure you have heard all of this a million times but thank you for doing what you do!
Best regards, Laila

The support and people on CC leave me speechless … you and all the ladies offer invaluable advice. I know for a fact Billie's recovery was aided by the kind hearts on CC. Bless you all. Jane (commenting on Cat Chat's Feline Forum)

Hi, Just to let you know we adopted “One Eyed Jack” from Manchester & Salford RSPCA after finding him on your website. As soon as I saw him I rang my Hubby and we went to see him. He has fallen in love with our cat Lucky. He is lovely - he can’t half eat though!! Alison G.

cat homed through cat chatHi, I am writing to let you know that my wife and I have rehomed penny from Freshfields Animal Rescue Centre, Caernarfon, thanks to your site we now have another lovely cat, many thanks. Mr. & Mrs Bailey.

Hi Cat Chat, Last September I rescued two kittens from Cat and Kitten Rescue in Watford, who I found through CatChat. Without this website, I doubt if I would have known of their existence. Abi and Pepper are growing into fabulous cats who are much loved, and along with my Birman cat, they are all best of friends. I can’t thank CatChat enough. I still look on the site often - still hoping to persuade my husband to let us rescue cat number four!!! Best wishes, Lorraine.

Hi, Just thought you would like to know about a cat I re-homed from Lothian cat rescue who we saw on their catchat page.  He is a big beautiful laid back tabby, who we renamed Buzz! He is a wonderful pet, very chatty and he loves the great outdoors. Last night we had a bonfire on the beach and he joined us for a while, then spend the rest of the evening running up and down the big tree beside us. Dear Cat Chat, Thanks to your website I now have a beautiful Ginger Tom called Colin who is now 13 weeks old. He is adorable and purrs all the time even if he just sees me! He loves all our children and gets carried around by my 5 year old son as though he was a baby. He is in his element! Thank you and I hope you continue the good work. Many thanks, Joanna

cat homed from kirkby cats home nottsI have only recently come across Cat Chat and how glad I am. What an absolutely wonderful site. I cannot praise it enough; it has given me a great deal of pleasure already. Thank you for the wonderful organisation you help run - it is wonderful. Mrs. Marsden, Bolton

Hi all, Just thought I'd let you in on a success story...
I had wanted to offer a 'forever' home to a cat but had been turned away by a couple of shelters because I have a dog. I asked on the Cat Chat forum if anyone in my area needed to rehome a cat or kitten. I eventually got a reply from a fellow member who's parents had a stray in their garden for 2-3 months and they needed a home for him. After emails and conversations, we arranged to meet the cat and we liked each other straight away. He's litter trained, very affectionate and is great with other cats & my dog too. So, thanks to you CatChat, we have a new addition and a much loved little boy has a forever home safe and sound. Iona

Thank so much for your informative and excellent website, it really has been a great find. I have been totally astounded by the help and advice offered. We have now found a cat rescue centre near us , and are waiting for a home visit before going to see the cats, so all good news. Thanks again for all your help. Angus

Just a quick but sincere thank you for your wonderful web site. I lost my 15 year old cat a few weeks ago and found your site whilst browsing for cat related web sites. I saw the most gorgeous boy called Dermot and he is now the newest member of our family and we love him to bits. So thank you again for your superb site and for helping me to find such a wonderful addition to our family. Kindest regards, Shona and Dermot, xxx

I recently adopted a rescue cat after browsing your pages, and wanted to thank you for bringing together all the different cat rescues - it’s so much easier for us visitors! Ms. J Turner, Hereford.

Can I just say what a delight Cat Chat is. I have recently re-discovered it and it is better than ever. I can't thank you enough for brightening my days this last week. Plus because of your site we are adopting 2 kitties aged 6 and 7, we collect them next week.
Keep up the good work. Niki

I just wanted to say what a great website this is. I am now the proud owner of a kitten I found through you, at South Oxhey Animal Rescue Centre.
