'Top Cats' Seeking Homes... Strathclyde

tortie female looking for a home in Glasgow MISSY at Glasgow Cats Protection (Can rehome to the Glasgow area only (postcodes G1 through to G81))
>> I need a home where I can be an adventurer

Hi there, I am Missy and I am a beautiful 5 year old tortie and white girl who is looking for a new guardian angel. I have come back into rescue because I really didn't like being an indoor cat; I have decided that I need to be able to have adventures in a garden. I am a lady that likes some lap time, but I can also be a bit feisty because I need to be able to burn off all my extra energy, I like to be stroked but not lifted up. I will keep you amused for ages as I can never quite reach that itch on my back no matter how much I roll about. I would love to find a home with no other cats, no dogs and no young children please and definitely no busy roads. If that sounds like you house I have just one question for you… when can I move in?

Black and white female cat needs home Strathclyde MOLLY at Cat Action Trust 1977 – East Kilbride (Rehoming in Strathclyde)
>> Loving and lovable lady!

Hello, my name is Molly. I'm a beautiful shorthaired black and white lady of eight years old, and I'm looking for a caring human companion or two in a peaceful forever home. I'm such a gentle and sweet-natured cat that I'll be perfect company for someone who spends a lot of time at home and can give me the love and affection I need. A quiet home without dogs or young children will suit me best; I could share a home with another friendly cat. An indoor home may be suitable for me, as I will prefer to spend my time with you! I'm in great health, and am spayed, vaccinated and microchipped (and I even have my very own pet passport). If you think that you might be able to offer me a permanent home then please get in touch!

homless cat MICKY at Cat Action Trust 1977 – East Kilbride (Rehoming in Strathclyde)
>> Gentle and playful wee lad!

Hiya, my name is Micky. You look nice. Up until now, I have always been in a loving home, but due to very sad circumstances, now have to find a new place. This is where you come in, so I need to impress, right? Well, to get the boring stuff out of the way - I am 6 years old, vaccinated and neutered. There, now let me tell you the fun stuff. My favourite thing in the whole world is to find a nice high place to sit and look down upon the world, like a king. I even have my own pet passport, so I must be very important! My other favourite thing to do in the whole world is have a play. I take care to be gentle though, as I know I am a big, strong tom-cat. And my third favourite thing to do in the whole world is make friends and just hang around with some cool people. I love to have human company. Not dogs though. Dogs are scary so cant be in the place that they are around. Other cats are fine though and perhaps older children. And a garden would be fab!! I am told I am a real nice boy, so please come and visit - I am sure you will want to take me home with you.
To make an enquiry, please call Joan on 01355 228855 any day after 11.30 am and mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
Friendly cat looking for home in Strathclyde MISS WIGGLES at Cat Concern, Strathclyde. (Rehoming in the Larnarkshire and Glasgow areas)
>> Lovely little cat needs a home

Hello, my name is Miss Wiggles. It's a very cute name, just like me! I'm a brindle tortie short haired neutered female cat. I'm only 1 year old and I am looking for an indoor home, perhaps you have a little space for me in your home? I can be a little shy at times but I'm sure if you give me a little time to settle we'll soon be the best of pals. I can live with other cats and children so I'm no bother. If you have some experience with cats and would like a lovely wee cat like me, please get in touch. Oh, I am quite partial to the odd treat too, maybe you have some?

Black female cat needs home in Strathclyde area EBONY at Cat Action Trust Lanarkshire.
>> This little girl will be a purrfect companion.

Hello, my name is Ebony. I'm about 9 months old and I have a beautiful black coat. I've had a very hard time of it up to now but I'm hoping that my luck will change and I'll find a loving home where I can stay forever. I'm a very friendly feline so I'm sure that, once we get to know each other, we can become really good companions. It would be really good if I had access to the outdoors so that eventually, once I've settled in, I can pop in and out if I want to. All that I ask is that I don't have to share a home with other cats or young children, say under 5 years old, and I'm not sure about dogs either. You'll be glad to know that I've already been neutered, de-wormed and micro-chipped, and I'll come with a month's free pet insurance, too. So, would you like a new feline friend? Why not enquire about me?

Affectionate cat seeks home in Ayrshire GRACE at Cat Action Trust 1977, Ayrshire Branch.(rehoming in: Ayrshire and Glasgow)
>> Friendly affectionate cat would like hugs...and home

Hello, my name is Grace. I'm a two year old, neutered, short haired ginger female cat. I'm looking for a wonderful new home with people that will love me forever. I have a sweet gentle nature and am very friendly. I love a nice hug and lots of affection. I'm easy to get along with and I get on with other cats. I haven't lived with children so I'm not sure for certain how I would react, but I think if I'm treated very gently I will be just fine. I am congenitally blind so I need an indoor home. However, if you do have a very secure/escape proof garden and could supervise me in it then this would be nice too. I have the shelter sussed out and can climb up a tree branch I've been provided with, I know exactly where to jump down too. I'm a great cat with so much love to give, please arrange to visit me so I can get a hug, and hopefully a new home!

pair of young female cats looking for home in Strathclyde PIPPIN & HEATHER at Cat Action Trust 1977 - Ayrshire Branch (Rehoming in: Ayrshire / Glasgow)
>>Gentle, shy little ladies

Pssst... yes, I'm over here... with the big eyes peeping out inquisitively..You don't seem too scary so I'll introduce myself! My name's Pippin and my best friend here is Heather - we're about 2 years old. I'm gonna use the f-word now and I hope you won't shy away from it... Yes we have been living feral but we're gentle kittys.. though shy. We were both nursing kittens when we were brought in and Heather was actually pregnant again! We've both been neutered now and we're ready to settle down. We are used to other cats (bonded to each other of course) and we don't mind gentle dogs. We're not big on being stroked or picked up so we wouldn't enjoy a home with children. We'd be best suited to a home where we had safe warm outbuildings to live in or with a kind owner who didn't mind our shyness. Sometimes a friendly face peeking over the wall at you is enough to cheer you up while you are getting on with your day! I know we're not going to be everyone's ideal pets but if you even think you could offer us a chance of a better llife, please come and see us!
If you want to make an enquiry about these sweet sisters please call 01563 525814 or email: cat77ayrshire@hotmail.co.uk and please mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
