'Overlooked Cats' Seeking Homes - East London

friendly tabby cat looking for home in London MOLLY at The CatCuddles Sanctuary, Greenwich. (Rehoming in: London & North West Kent)
>> Special & loving little Molly wants to share her big heart with you

Oh hello there, my name's Molly, so lovely to meet you. Now people say I'm a very special cat on account of my affectionate and gentle nature and my calming aura! (I'm not entirely sure what an aura is but I think its something to do with purrs?) Sadly my previous people didn't care for me properly and my diabetes was left undiagnosed. I didnt mind that so much as the lack of cuddles, that made me so sad. However it means now I'm 15 years old and I need injections twice daily and special food. With my condition treated like this I'm a happy cat, I just need a special human who is prepared to manage this and give me a peaceful and loving home. I don't mind other gentle kitties, only my food musn't get mixed up with theirs. At the shelter they really want me to find a forever home so if you can't adopt me because of cost, they are offering long term foster care with food & medicine cost covered. Because of this, they are also looking for sponsors if you would like to contribute towards my care but can't adopt. Please say you'll help me, I just want to be loved.

sweet natured pair of cats looking for home in London PHOENIX & DOMINO at Celia Hammond Animal Trust - Lewisham Branch. (Rehoming to S.E. London, Bromley, N.Kent: Welling, Bexley, Sidcup, Swanley, Dartford, Croydon & S.W. London: SW8, SW9, SW2, SW11, SW4, SW12, SW16, SW17)
>>Sweet little boy and his Mama

Hey there matey! My name's Domino (I'm the black and white one) and the lovely tabby lady is my Mum - Phoenix. I'm a whole year old and Mum is 3. I'm a friendly kitty but my mum is a little shy, so we'd really like a home together so's I can look out for her. Mum has become more trusting during our time here and will continue to get braver in a calm home with a patient owner. We were actually found living as strays in a compost heap (that doesn't do anything for anyone's confidence!). Mum did everything she could to feed me but I was so hungry and scared. We've been at the rescue for 10 months now, I don't know why people go home without us - everyday we watch them pass us by. We just dream of having our first proper home with lovely people that care about us and help us grow in confidence. Do you think that could be you?

young, playful, black female cat looking for a home in the East and West areas of London MAIYA at RSPCA Friern Barnet Adoption Centre. (Rehoming in East and West London)
>> Can you help me be a lucky black cat?

Hi everyone, I'm Maiya a beautiful, sleek black girl of only 5 years old and I'm looking for a home where I'll be your one and only. I can be a little shy when I first meet you, just until I size you up and when I see that you're going to be lovely I'll show you my playful and friendly nature. I'm best with children over 10. I've been neutered and am in good health...well, a part from a bit of bother with dry skin but I've found that eating one of those sensitive food diet thingys does my skin wonders and so staying on that keeps it managed. Now, what else.....I guess it just leaves you to contact the rescue now and come to take me home!

Friendly black cat looking for a home DONNY at Celia Hammond Animal Trust, Lewisham Branch. (Rehoming to S.E. London, Bromley, N.Kent: Welling, Bexley, Sidcup, Swanley, Dartford, Croydon & S.W. London: SW8, SW9, SW2, SW11, SW4, SW12, SW16, SW17)
>> Friendly cat needs a home

Hello. My name is Donny. I'm a black short haired neutered male cat of 10 years old. I'm an ex stray cat and am looking for a home to call my own. I'm a friendly chap and get along with other cats and I'd be fine in a home with older children. I have diabetes and need to have insulin injections twice a day. My veterinary care will continue to be provided for by the veterinary clinic at the shelter. Now that my diabetes is controlled I'm feeling much better and I'm ready for my new home. It'd be great if you could stop by and visit me!

Beautiful cat in london and north west kent MASIA at The CatCuddles Sanctuary, Greenwich. (rehoming in London & North West Kent)
>> Beautiful cat looking for a home, with a garden please!

Hi there, my name is Masia. I'm a 7 year old neutered female tabby cat. I'm looking for a great new home with no other animals or children. I'm being re-homed as my family have moved into a new home without a garden, and I really loved to play in my garden, so this would be really important in my new home. I'm a really independent cat so if you're out at work all day it's no problem for me, I'll be just fine! I love to relax on the windowsill and keep an eye on things outside. When you get home from work maybe I can potter about in the garden for a bit! I can get a little spooked by loud noises and am a little wary of new people. If you spend time playing and interacting with me, once you gain my trust, I'll be your best friend! I hope you come and visit me soon!
To make an enquiry, please call: 02081 232 230 or 07782 661 255 or Email: adopt@catcuddles.org.uk, and please mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
Black and white male cat needs home in East London. HEERA at RSPCA London East. (Can rehome to postal codes: E6, E7, E13, E14, E15, E12, E4.)
>> An adorable gentleman.

Hello, my name's Heera. I'm a neutered, black and white boy cat. I used to be part of a group of stray cats; we used to hang around in a garden that belonged to a really nice lady who fed us regularly for a couple of years. I was quite happy just to sit in the garden for hours. I wasn't like the other cats, though, because I also liked to spend time indoors with our human friend. Unfortunately, that all came to an end when she had to move. I don't want to go back to a life on the streets so here I am, looking for a proper, forever home. I have had my opportunities while being here but, because I love to sit outside for most of the time, people just walk past my pen thinking it's empty! So, is there some caring person out there who can offer me a home? As I've already said, I love to sit outside so I'll need access to a garden but I'd also like some indoor space, too, that I can call my own.
To make an enquiry about Heera, please call: 07949 473 829 or email: lorna@lorna014.orangehome.co.uk, and please mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
ginger and white male cat looking for a home in the Essex, London, Kent and Surrey areas ARCHIE at Bromley & District Cat Rescue. (can rehome to West Kent, Essex, Surrey and Greater London)
>> Come and meet Archie, the loveliest cat you could wish to meet

Hello there, you caught me just about to take a swipe at my ball but you look a lot more interesting so my ball can wait! I'm Archie, mainly white with a bit of orange and they say here that I'm such a lovely boy, sweet natured and laid back, don't know what that's all about but I do love people, other cats, older children...oh just everything and everyone really! I'm 4 years old, healthy, neutered and vaccinated. I'm deaf which means my meow might be a little loud and one of the other cats said it sounded like a screech but the people here don't seem put off by it, in fact they smile. I'm looking for a home and would love to come home with you. If you'd like to know how to make life easier for a deaf cat click on here: http://www.catchat.org/disabled_cats.html#deaf

Black female cat needs home in East London. DORIS at Bromley & District Cat Rescue. (Can rehome to: West Kent, Essex, Surrey and Greater London)
>> A beautiful little girl with a lovely nature.

Hello, I'm Doris. I'm a totally black girl cat who's looking for a new home. I'm so petite that you probably think that I'm a kitten, but I'm not - I'm 1 year old and I've already had a litter of kittens. All my little ones have now been homed, so now it's my turn. (I won't be having any more litters now that I've been spayed, thankfully.) My carers say that I don't just look like a kitten, I act like one too! It's just that I'm very playful, lively and friendly; I suppose I'm going through my second kitten-hood now that I no longer have the responsibilities of being a mum. One thing I can guarantee is that I will liven up your home. Do you have children? That's no problem because I'll play with them, too. I've been microchipped as well so you should never lose me.
To make an enquiry about Doris, please call: 0208 464 6035 or 07788 627130 or email: bromleyrescuecats@gmail.com, and please mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
female tabby cat looking for a home in South East London areas TIG at Second Chance Animal Rescue, Swanley. (Rehoming in: North West Kent and South East London)
>> A lovely lap cat looking for a warm comfortable lap to call her own!

Hello, how lovely to see you! I am Tig; I came in with my Mum but she has found her forever home now, so it is just me. I am a young tabby girl, gentle and friendly and I do like to have a nice cuddle up in a lap which, as the weather is turning a bit colder again, I've heard you humans quite appreciate too! I am looking for a new home filled with lots of love. I'd be absolutely fine living with gentle children and even sharing with other gentle cats. I have been neutered, deflead and wormed. Can I try out your lap for size to see if I could come home with you?
To make an enquiry about this lovely girl, please call: 01322 665270 or Email: babscats67@gmail.com, and please mention you saw this notice on Cat Chat, thank you!
