Cat flap "Cat Mate Elite" problems
Hi Does anyone else have the Cat Mate Elite? I am struggling with the timer on it. I set it up all correctly with the customer service lady on the phone but sometimes I find that it still doesn't open (from the inside) when it's supposed to. But if I leave it a few minutes and try again then it's ok...

Re: Help please! Cat stuck on roof
Update - Cat safe. He did stay up there all night but this morning we have managed to coax him in through a skylight. (We tried this last night but with no success.) But I think daylight and sheer desperation and he got it, thank goodness. He's absolutely fine, very purry and now getting to work cle...

Re: Help please! Cat stuck on roof
Thank you - yeah I got a lot of Blah about covid and health and safety and all the rest, so no they won't help tonight :-( I guess now I just need reassurance that he'll be ok up there through the night, it's 7/8 degrees, clear skies. He's got nowhere to curl up, he's stuck up on a very steep sided ...

Help please! Cat stuck on roof
Help please - Cat stuck on roof. Neither RSPCA or fire brigade will help at this stage of the evening and I really don't want to leave him up there in the cold, he's just a baby. Any suggestions please?

Re: Mud stuck between paw pads
Hi Thank you all for your advice I have been keeping a close eye on it and it is working it's way out, it is now nearly all gone. Maybe because the weather has been dryer? But I will keep an eye on it and if it comes back I'll make sure it's dealt with. Thank you for your concern and advice Vanessa

Re: Mud stuck between paw pads
Hmm, the mud is quite compacted so it would be a job to soak it off and it's also too thick and stuck to the hair between the pads to brush off, he's also trying to bite it out with his teeth but can't. He does have scratching posts and pads and does a lot of stropping on trees but sadly the mud is ...

Mud stuck between paw pads
Hi I have a 7 month old big boy cat who is newly introduced to the big wide world and loves it! He loves digging in the garden, climbing trees, all the usual stuff. However he has now got loads of mud congealed and stuck between his paw pads. It obviously bothers him as he's always chewing and bitin...

Re: Counter, Table and Stove Surfing
Hi Meesha I have just been searching for help with my 5 month old kitten who sounds like yours when it comes to the kitchen counter. A constant battle of up down up down and all the usual tricks like tin foil, jars of coins, clapping and shouting No and even water spray just not working. To him it's...

Advice on microchip operated catflaps - brands/models
Hi I have just had my young cat neutered and microchipped (he is 5 months). He is big and bold and I think ready to venture outside. We have been playing together in the garden under my supervision but I think it's about time to introduce the cat flap. I have been thinking about the microchip operat...
