Re: eye problem

You could also try bathing the eye with camaline tea. This was recomended to me and cleared the eye up straight away. Others are right thou if i was really concerned i would go to the vets to be on the safe side

Re: Is it wrong to feed someone else's cat?

You are doing the right thing trying to get to know the cat. Try playing with it using the lure type toys.
Most cats cant resist those or maybe one of the lasar ones.

Re: Is it wrong to feed someone else's cat?

Please talk to your landlady about it. If you explain your reasons im sure will be fine. The problem i see is that the cat is going to get used to the extra food so when you leave your landlady and the next tenent will have difficulties. Maybe feed him some treats instead a few a couple of times a d...

Re: Speculative cat fiction: what if...

If cats could fly i doubt very much they would have been domesticated in as higher number as they have been . If kept as pets i imagine they would be more like Birds kept as pets today and need to be kept in avaries thus reducing their appeal to some people. It would also affect the bird population ...

Is there a reason you dont wont the cat in your badrooms at night or is it just a preferance? My cats have free reign and 1 0r more often join me especially my kittens. They ussually want a little play or cuddles then either settle down and sleep or leave. I find stroking them , their purrs and them...

I had a cat that preferd to be out in all weathers. I once watched her lying on top of a fence in a snow storm gradually turning from black to white. Despite several attempts to tempt her in she only came in when she was ready. I have also lived with cats that love the sun but wont go outside for mo...

My reply to people who go on about cats killing wildlife is to ask them what their gardens front and back are like. Lots of people have either concereted over parts of their garden , pulled up edges and replaced them with fences , chopped down trees or planted their garden with foreign species of pl...

Some cats are naturally nervous. One of my old cats Princess was like this. When i got her from the rescue i couldnt find her indoors for 2 days until i found her under the dressing table in a incredibly small space. She was coming out when the room was empty as her food was being eaten . I took it ...

I wonderd if birds had taste buds and they do but only about 60. Aparently some people put cayenne pepper in birdseed to discourage squirrels which the birds eat with no proplem, thats the seeds not the squirrels. Heres a link to a great article on birds taste and smell. http://www.birdsandblooms.co...

You could try a automatic feeder. There are various kinds and you might find a suitable one. Is it your only cat? I would take it to the vets just to be certain its not medical but it sounds like a history thing. One of my rescues would wolf everything down including his sisters if he could get away...

I would recommend getting a kitten or young cat who would be up to playing with Clive this might help with Harvey as they will play with each other rather than anoying Harvey. If you do a careful introduction from what you say things should go ok. You might have some short time distruption and sulki...
