Big update on Penny

Hello everyone. I'm coming here with an update on Penny since life got a bit hectic and I wasn't really online here for a month. For anyone curious, I posted on this forum first about her urinary medical issues due to physical trauma here. So, to get that out of the way first, we (my sister and I, t...

Re: Pancreatitis - anxiety and worry for my boy

Yeah, I suppose it is then worth a try to try those ear drops. Poor kitty. I know I've seen some videos of people on YouTube putting like those baby inhaler things for de-congesting a cats nose. Something like this: 1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEvA27kZk-A 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk...

Re: Pancreatitis - anxiety and worry for my boy

He is most welcome!! <3 And oof. I would probably look for a different vet. My current vet still has covid restrictions but when pets go in for examination, their owners go in with them and normally talk to the vet and assist with holding (if/when needed), all while wearing masks and stuff. So I thi...

Re: Aggression between only two of my cats

No problem! I'm glad you are getting great advice :) It's a really nice feeling when the community rallies behind you and offers help! I'm glad to hear that she is doing better since you implemented some changes. It does sound like she does need a bit more time indeed, and introducing her again to o...

Re: Chronic FLUTD/FIC due to physical trauma?

Hello all, I want to thank you all for your kind words and support, and I also want to thank you for such lengthy replies. I really appreciate it. <3 I am going to address the things that have been mentioned one by one slowly, but a quick update on Penny: one of her other tests (biochemical profile,...

Re: Hairball issue or something else?

Took one for the team and clicked on the links, so they are safe. For anyone curious, they lead to two unlisted youtube videos of showing the kitty with aforementioned symptoms, while the kitty is doing a relaxed cat loaf pose on a bed or couch. Anyway, sorry op, had to get that out of the way, in c...

Re: Aggression between only two of my cats

I really feel for you.. cats not getting along can cause a really huge headache some times. Have you looked into any resources by Jackson Galaxy? There are a lot of books on this topic as well (multiple cat households, how to reduce tension, and all that etc) but if you cannot get a hold of books fo...

Re: Sprayed Raid to kill a roach... Now what?

I think you're gonna be okay. After disposing of the roach, just make sure to properly wash off the areas with some detergent soap and water, and then wipe it with water. I think you can also set up roach sticky traps, people do those as a preventative measure. Good luck because I really sympathize ...

Re: Pancreatitis - anxiety and worry for my boy

Oof, I'm really sorry to hear that your cat has also had to deal with pancreatitis. It's really hell. One of my cats has had it, and he also had recurring episodes throughout the year (for him it started in 2021). The worst part is the waiting game, where you just have to see the vet every day for t...

Chronic FLUTD/FIC due to physical trauma?

Hey all, I'm asking here because I'm struggling with one of my cats (Penny). Penny seems to be suffering from chronic flutd/fic but my sister and I have no idea what would be causing it. Or rather, HOW would it be causing it. So, to get some things out of the way: I also have two other cats (Pippin ...
