Cats can not get OR give FIV to others by sharing food or drinking bowls. It can be transmitted from their mother at birth or from a bite wound that is a puncture. The danger to letting him outside is the danger to other cats if they fight

Your vet can give him a liquid antibiotic and you can supplement with Imuquin for cats and frozen raw goats milk( I use one made by primal)

Are you feeding him canned food? That’s what he should be eating due to his tooth issues

All life stages can be fed to a kitten

He’s better off inside. FIV cats do have ups and downs. Maybe there is something missing nutritionally. Probiotics maybe. Frozen raw goats milk

I have an FIV cat. It’s my understanding is that they don’t post any harm to people just to other cats and even then only through a puncture wound.
