My cat Charlie is about 11 years old and has always loved his food and pretty much cleaned his dish. Just lately though he doesn't really want to eat any kind of food that I give him, he will eat dried pretty much ok. Re: Not using litter try
Hi Maria , no his tray is in the flat. When I was talking about the communal area I was referring to outside. So the location of his tray isn't the issue ....any other ideas? Thanks.

Re: Not using litter try
Thanks for your reply Janey. As far as I know he is healthy. He not long went to the vets for his booster and a check up and all was fine. It is a communal area though and I did catch him meowing at another cat through a glass door the other night....would this be why he's doing what he's doing and ...

Re: Cat sitter vs. Leaving them with my sister?
Hi I'm no expert but I would say they would be better off left in their home environment, as this is their territory and they have scent marked their territory so it is familiar to them and that is more important to a cat than the humans they are with - sorry to say that! (I saw a program on studyin...

Overweight?
Hi My cat weights about 6.5 kg. is this overweight? I can feel his ribs but not overly so, the same with his backbone and even though he doesn't have a particularly noticeable waist, he does go in slightly there, rather than out. He is pretty much constantly asking for food when I am around and I fe...

Hi Crewella and Merrick
Thanks for your reply, very helpful and I will give him lots of space and time to settle in and maybe one day he will want to go "exploring" again.

My cat doesn't want to go out
My cat is approx 8yrs old and I got him as a rescue cat about 5 yrs ago. He was always an outdoor cat and during the summer I would pretty much only see him for meals, whether it was day or night. I have just moved to a flat after him spending 6 weeks in a cattery (couldn't be helped unfortunately) ...
