Re: Travelling with cats on a train - any tips?

Re: Washing my cat
If you have any antibacterial lotions that are safe then dilute and dip grooming brushes in them. Can help to clean their coat and maybe their skin. Also wrap in a towel soaked in cold water and then wrung out. It soothes and burning sensations from the bites.

Re: Fast breathing
I soak a towel in cold water, wring it out and wrap it tightly around the whole of the cat and hug them for a few minutes. One of my cats will let me massage his ears with the cool towel too. Works wonders for absorbing the heat from their coats and cooling the blood.

Travelling with cats on a train - any tips?
A journey from London to Ryde on the Isle of Wight - train and ferry involved. I'm transporting Hansel and Gretel on public transport and was wondering if any of you have travelled with cats on trains and if there is an effective sedative which the Vet can provide to reduce the enormous stress they'...

Health insurance with dental cover - any leads please?
I'm wondering if there are any experienced owners here who could give a recommendation for health insurance for my two moggies, brother and sister Hansel and Gretel: Three years old. Spayed and neutered. Microchipped. Completely healthy with no pre-conditions. No special breed. Their jabs are not up...
