Re: black&white cat found in chingford

Hi Have you had any luck finder the owner for this cat? Have you taken it to a vets to be scanned to see if it is micro-chipped? One of my cats went missing a few months ago and looked very similar to this one. Could you tell does it have a white tip on its tail? My cat was micro chipped. I know we ...

Re: Introducing Newby to Existing Cat

Hi All I thought you might like an update on how newby and senior are getting along. Its now been 7 weeks since newby came to join us, its flown by. At first senior was not impressed and growled and hissed at newby ... I found myself constantly fretting as to whether we had done the right thing for ...

Re: It's the not knowing....

My thoughts are with you as I know how you are feeling. We have still not heard anything about our boy Sidney who went missing on the 4th November last year. We are resigned to the fact now that he will either make his home way home when he can or we will at some point get a call to say to collect h...

Re: Introducing Newby to Existing Cat

Hi Lilith

Apologies for late reply, bit hectic with settling boys and work etc.

Thank you for all your advice and encouragement. Things are still ticking along nicely with senior improving his behaviour everyday.

Will keep you posted on progress and hope to post pics of them cuddling soon :D

Re: Introducing Newby to Existing Cat

Introducing Newby to Existing Cat

Hi All I am looking for some advice please. One of my cats went missing 4th November and we desperately miss him and hope he will turn up. In the meantime we have adopted a new boy as company for our existing cat and to be honest because we missed not having two cats. Newby was a stray taken in by s...

What great news - you must be so pleased.

It gives me hope as my boy Sidney has been missing for 2 months so maybe there is still hope that he will turn up too.

Re: Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Well despite all my prayers my cat Sidney did not come home for Xmas. I was convinced he would come home Xmas day to the point that I just got really tearful when he never turned up. I then decided he would be home New Years but so far no luck  Please everyone still keep an eye out for him. The...

Re: STILL MISSING - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Thought I would add a picture to this thread now that I have worked out how to! We are still desperately sad that we have had no news or leads yet on Sidney - I beg everyone out there if you find a stray cat please please take it to be scanned to check if it is micro chipped. Re: It's the not knowing....

Dear Sue I am in the same position as you so feel your heartbreak. My lovely boy Sidney went missing on the 4th November, we always keep our cats in at night and my husband let them both out that morning and Sidney simply vanished. I spend all my time obsessing about what might have happened to swin...

Re: cat found

Hi If it were me I would try to catch it and take it to a vets to get it scanned and see if it is micro chipped. At least that way it can be returned to its owners if it is. My own cat is currently missing and I am desperately hoping that someone will have the presence of mind to take him to a vets ...

Re: Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Well sad to say my lovely boy Sidney is still missing :( It will be 3 weeks on Tuesday coming (25th) and we are really worried sick. I can't concentrate or think straight as all I keep doing is going over and over in my head where he could be or what might have happened. Please please if you live in...

Re: Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Thank you for your good wishes. I am going to do a new leaflet drop through doors to remind neighbours that he is still missing and will bear in mind you advice regarding posters.

Please just everyone keep an eye out for him if you are from my area.

Many Thanks

Re: Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Hi All - its been a week and Sidney is still missing. We have done everything we can think of - emptied litter tray on garden, laminated posters, fliers through doors, phoned vets, council and rescue centres. He appears to have just gone out one morning and vanished. We are so devastated as we know ...

Re: Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Thanks for your reply. Yes have put notes through every door on my estate asking for people to check sheds/garages etc. Have also put some of the litter tray including a "present" from his brother out on the lawn in the hope he will pick up the scent. He has never been one to stray and pre...

Missing Cat - Fair Oak, Eastleigh, Hampshire

Please please keep an eye out for my little boy called Sidney. He is 21/2 years old and black with white front toes, white back feet, white chin and bib and a white tip on his tail. He has a silver reflective collar (at least he did when he left home) and is micro chipped and neutered. He and his br...
