Re: Urgent help, cat stuck up a tree
How high is the tree? Where is the tree, is it in her garden? Has she tried to phone RSPCA. I suppose they have tried to lure the cat down with food. Can they borrow or get a ladder anywhere near it?

Re: DARK DESTROYER
Isn't it stange though, we would never allow a dog to get away with such naughty behaviour. Both of my cats are 'blow- ins' both gave me that look of; 'you look stupid and well heeled; you'll do'. And both, sadly, have my unconditional devotion.

DARK DESTROYER
My lovely Geogie kitten is starting to emerge from the adorable stage, into the terrible toddler stage. There's now a big patch of wall paper missing from the hall and the newel post at the bottom of the stairs looks like the trunk of a palm. She's also started to ambush my lovely gentle 13 year old...

Re: Acute Kidney Failure
As my sister mentioned last week we had two cats poisioned with antifreeze. The vet is certain of it. It was a few years ago now. Lysanda our old boy had never been a very hearty chap having survived cat flu when he was a few weeks old. Even after being on a drip for two days to flush him out he sad...

Re: Not sure how good Hill's diet food is
That's strange, we've got a very large cat; that's always been on the large side and he has an on - off cough that the vet can't explain. He's had all the blood tests known to man and it isn't anything sinister. We give him a food supplement now. It comes in the form of a gravy like goo and it's cal...

Re: Re Foxes !!!!!
Hi, I've got two cats, both are strays. One, a big BIG, 13 year old Tom called Yowlee and the other a dainty 6 month old female called Georgia. We also have quite a lot of Town Foxes in the area. Yowlee, I have no concern about. He's head Honcho in our neighbourhood on account of his size; most dogs...

I'm so sorry, but at least you did the very best you could. Like you say, he was in the warm and dry and would have had a long painful end if Dave Hadn't stopped.

Re: Vibes for RTA cat
Hi Sue,
Let me know how the cat is. How can someone hit a cat and not stop. A small bird makes a big enough impact. I suppose alot of people would think 'Oh, it's just a cat!' Does this mean there's going to be another member of the White Island Road Pride?

spaying
Georgia is due to be spayed at the beginning of next month, my sister has never had to have 'collars of shame' put on her cats after surgery but I'm worried she may pick at her stitches. I'm sure the vet will advise me but is there anyone with any experience of this out there

Finally got Georgie's Photo loaded. This was from when she took a nose dive into the bath. She came out with foam round her face making her look like a black Santa...She wasn't impressed

The trouble is as soon as you point a camera at them they go all sensible again as if to say, 'who me?'

break dance kitty
Georgia slipped into the bathroom again last night and jumped into the bath. Fortunately, there wasn't any water in it this time. I heard a noise and went in to find her 'break dancing'; spinning around on her head and chasing her tail. It's incredible to think that the Egyptians use to regard these...

Re: Water games
Considering Georgie's last trip to our bathroom you would think she'd never want to go in there again. I still have to watch her and remember to close the bathroom door if I leave the bath running. The positive outcome of that little excursion was that she smelled of 'Herbal Essenses' for ages.

Re: Water games
Georgia has attempted to jump in the loo as well, what is it with cats and loos? I thought they didn't like water in general. More disturbing is the fact that at only 5 months she's getting the hang of lifting the loo seat up; clever monkey!

Re: Advice on those first trips to the garden
I had a heart in mouth moment last night. She just managed to slip past me onto the patio as I let the dog into the garden. Fortunatley, she loves 'Dreamies' and I managed to scoop her up before she disappeared into the darkness, (she's black)!

Advice on those first trips to the garden
I'm having my kitten spayed next month. In the new year, when she's nicely healed up I want her to be able to got out with my other cat. Has anyone got any tips on getting her back in the house...without the need for a net or stun gun!
