Cat flipping out on windowsill
My cat is mainly an indoor cat by her own choosing. The problem of late is that there is a huge tom cat next door who patrols his own garden and mine in the middle of the night. What's beginning to happen is that Annie sits on the windowsill almost like she is waiting for Eric to go by. When he does...

Re: Red spots and scabs
The bowl she has is metal. I suppose when thinking about it, I could be a bit more hot on washing the bowl more thoroughly when she's finished food. At the moment I just tend to rinse it. So maybe this will help a lot. No the spots never go black, they're just little red dots. Her lips haven't ever ...

Re: Red spots and scabs
So the two pictures attached are of the chin and the scab. The chin doesn't go black really and this picture doesn't really show how red they are but you can just about make them out on these pictures. I couldn't get a good picture of the scab because she was sleeping and I feel just awful waking he...

Red spots and scabs
My cat has got very little fur just under her bottom lip and I'm finding that shes getting little red spots on there which look a bit sore, though when I touch them she doesn't seem to flinch. Could this be something to do with her eating wet food and it's irritating her chin a bit? She also dribble...

How do I encourage my cat to explore?
I rehomed a cat three weeks ago. She's a really friendly cat, really placid but she only ever goes in the 'safe room', the lounge and the kitchen (when she knows it's food time). I really want her to go upstairs into other rooms in the house and eventually let her outside. It seems that when she doe...

Re: New cat pees while asleep
I should probably mention that she has very recently been spayed

New cat pees while asleep
We rehomed an 18th month old cat about 4 days ago, right now she is asleep on my knee and I've noticed a lot of twitching from the cat and then I felt a small leek of wet on my leg (definitely isn't me!!). I know that before we got her she had had all of her check ups, and she's had no problems usin...

Re: Cat in conservatory
That's great! Thank you,
No I totally understand about the summer months, she will certainly be able to go in and out of the conservatory as she pleases!

Cat in conservatory
Hi, I rehomed a 18month old cat two days ago and I set up a safe room on her arrival which is the conservatory, she looks very comfortable in here and I intend this to be her permanent bedroom. The only problem I have is that when I decided this was going to be her safe room, I completely forgot abo...
