Re: Broken hearted

Hi there, I lost my Cat Milo a week ago to the day, I know exactly how you are feeling and I send my love and sympathy. I dont think there are any words that help, only that it does get easier, but just grieve....ignore what some people say there is no time limit for grieving. I cant even bring myse...

Re: cat is stressed after losing his brother

Thank you for your replies. Milo died at home, the vet who attended did say sometimes it's quite positive for the other cat to see the body, but I didnt feel comfortable doing it. I'm trying to keep things normal for him, it's the excessive eating thats worrying me most. Hes gone to hide in his litt...

Home urgently needed for 2 Young cats

Hi Cat chatters, I'm urgently looking for a home for 2 young cats, brother and sister, both neutered. The owner can't keep them as her daughter has had a baby and the baby is allergic to cats. She has tried to find a home where they can be together, but is saying she will take them to a pet shop, an...

Re: cat with kidney problems

Thanks guys. She went to the vets last night and it wasn't good news. Her kidneys are bigger, and she's lost a lot of weight, she reckons we are looking at 2 months max. I'm heartbroken. With her drinking a lot, she's getting her fur wet under her chin and it looks so sore. I'm at my wits end, I don...

Re: Animal Friends insurance

The vet won't write a letter as his argument is that he can't confirm whether or not she had a condition as I didn't take the test!!! I'm so bloody mad, I don't have leg to stand on, but I'm not letting it go without a fight..totally wrong :@

Re: Animal Friends insurance

They've refused Beryls bill of 368 quid, because I took hereto the vets in May for her claws clipped, and just mentioned to the vet she was drinking water a lot. He didn't test her or anything, just said keep an eye on her. They are now saying she had a pre existing medical condition!!! This can't b...
