Re: Sooty's ashes...We brought her home today
Hi Michelle, I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I know what you mean about the mornings feeling the worst. We had our lovely boy put down only a few weeks ago now and it does get easier with time; however I did have a good cry today when I went into the garden due to the lovely weather, because he...

Really missing him right now
:( I'm ok one minute and then the next.... I'm in bed and missing him jumping on the bed for cuddles. It's only been just over a week, but already i'm struggling to remember the last cuddle and the last memory of him being here so alive and present. I know it's just panic and I'm having a low moment...

Urns for ashes
Does anyone know of a good website to order an urn?
I've been looking online, but most I've found seem a bit morbid and old fashioned and i'd like to find a nice modern urn.

Our boy came home yesterday and just having his ashes in the house and no longer on his own at the vets or at the crematorium, is somewhat comforting. Bring your boy home and you if/when you have a wobble in doing so, remember....we're ...

Re: Had to say goodbye to my baby
Ah hon i know what you mean about certain times of the day that you have to get used to, with them no longer being there. Just very recently I also thought "This time last week....." remembering saying goodbye to our lovely boy. Since then there was that first feeding time without him (we ...

Re: Just recently lost our beloved cat
Ah thank you JulieandBarney. You're so kind. So sorry to hear about your loss.
How do you get passed the "i wish i'd spent even an extra 5 minutes with him before he went" ??
But at what point do you let go and stop beating yourself up? xx

Just recently lost our beloved cat
Hi all, We've just recently had to have our gorgeous cat put down. He seemed fine apart from recently seeming a bit blue and off his food. It was a shock for us to think he was just under the weather to be told he was very ill and was subsequently put to sleep, all in just a matter of days. The feel...
