Re: New here- Just lost my Coconut of 16 years

Re: New here- Just lost my Coconut of 16 years

Hi there, glad you found yourself here for support. I started to feel a little better because of the lovely kind words of the people on here. Your lovely cat Coconut sounds like a character...my cat also would bite your hair sometimes..I totally know your pain as I feel the same. My cat passed 8 day...

Re: Sooty's ashes...We brought her home today

So sorry to learn of the sad loss of your boy too...it is very comforting to know others understand on here. I do also find some comfort now I have her ashes home. I never thought I would miss her so much.. at first I found it unbearable to even tell anyone she had gone. I think I will be hanging ar...

Re: Sooty's ashes...We brought her home today

Thankyou so much for taking the time to put in words the grief you felt. I feel exactly as you describe..Every morning reality floods back but I'm learning to cope better each day.. Doesn't really help being 35 weeks pregnant & knowing this child will never know her sweet little personality. The...

Sooty's ashes...We brought her home today

We've just collected Sooty's ashes exactly one week since she passed away..it doesn't feel like a week at all. This last week has been a bit of a blur, although it still all feels slightly unreal, today I find myself being able to smile a little when I look at her pictures...I still find it hard to ...

Re: Saying goodbye to our lovely Sooty cat of 20 years

Thankyou for the replies...I really didn't expect that she would be gone in the blink of an eye even at her ripe old age but very glad it was quick for her sake...I just feel I have been preoccupied with this pregnancy rather than appreciating my dear old cats affection. She just wouldn't leave me a...

Re: Saying goodbye to our lovely Sooty cat of 20 years

Sorry to hear of your loss. It is always a such a wrench when they leave us. 20 years is a brave age and she sounds as if she had a wonderful life with you. You should find comfort in the fact that she went quite quickly and that she would not have known much of what was happening. I had a similar ...

Saying goodbye to our lovely Sooty cat of 20 years

At bedtime on the 26th February I noticed something wasn't quite right with my old Sooty cat. She didn't want to sleep in her usual place..the next morning though she ate a little food but was acting a little strange. By the afternoon she was wandering round & round..I picked her up she must hav...
