elderly female needs new home in Lincoln

MUFFIN is a very friendly 17 yr old female neutered cat. Her owner has had her from a kitten & she's enjoyed excellent health. Muffin is a sociable cat, although shy when she first meets you. She adores a fuss & will be a loyal/loving companion. In previous years she did venture outside, but now pre...

Re: RSPCA put down FIV cat

Sadly the majority of the general public aren't aware that RSPCA branches have their own rules. I didn't know until I became the rehoming co-ordinator/trustee for a local branch. It's really sad because some branches can give others a bad name. I'm not sure what the policy is with Cats Protection wi...

Re: Found entire tabby tom in Lincoln LN1

I just commented on the thread. Heartbreaking  I'd like to mention that the decision of the fate of FIV cats taken into RSPCA care varies from branch to branch. I was rehoming co-ordinator/trustee for RSPCA Lincs East branch back in 2013 & they pts any cat that came into their care with FIV. I ...

Found entire tabby tom in Lincoln LN1

Very distressing news. The infection had penetrated his spine & there was no chance of recovery. His back end was damaged beyond repair & he would have had no chance of bladder control even if unblocked. Basically he was dying a slow agonising death. He's now free from pain at rainbow bridge. R.I.P....
