Hi Victorriann My girl Tilly has had several bouts of Pancreatitis - she nearly died from it last year. If you use the search facility on here you will find the threads about it. I think milk caused Tilly's problem - we have not had a recurence since I banned it from her diet.

So I forgot to put the Yumove on her dinner tonight. She sniffed at her dinner and then looked up disgusted! So I hastily put it on and she scoffed away contentedly. Looks like a repeat order for the stuff will be on its way soon!

Thanks for that link, Lilith, gives me confidence that it will carry on working. I hadn't noticed the strong fishy smell, but that would explain why Tilly likes it so much!

Pleased to hear that Tilly is doing well. At her stage in life, gaining weight is a good thing - they loose it all to easily (although my Tilly is gaining a bit to much!)

Fostering seems the best way forward. Maybe if you ever have to give Si back, a bit of economy with the truth is indicated, something on the lines of "we had all this cat food left over from our old cat, so thought we would try it on her".

My Tilly is also adept at hoovering up everyone at the Vets, when she had to have her bandage changed after her leg operation (having dunked it in water) she somehow required 1 vet and 4 vet nurses to change. I didn't get a look in!

I also have a Maine Coon and a Sureflap Pet Door (also got because Maine Coon's don't fit normal cat flaps). Looking at it, I don't think it would be easy to waterproof the inside so that it could go outside and it would make operating the controls very difficult anyway.

It is strips of cooked chicken in broth and is a complete cat food. Worked wonders on my convalescent Tilly a few years ago.
